JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a fast growing company engaged in the production of premium ice cream and high quality extrusion cooked food product, which includes wafers and cones. Due to phenomenal expansion in our operations, openings now exist for hardworking, result oriented and experienced individuals to fill this strategic positions.

Responsibilities

- Monitors and maintains general ledger
- Manages fixed assets by establishing adequate accounting and control  systems to safeguard the assets, of the company, ensuring compliance with management policies and procedures and ensuring accuracy and validity of transactions;
- Manages payroll
- Prepares final accounts (Trial balance, pal, Balance sheet)
- Prepares financial reports;
- Forecasts/projects and analyzes monthly cash flow
- Evaluates financial performance including investment appraisal and financial analysis of production strategies.
- Variance analyses:
- Establishes banking policy and ensures prudent fund management.    
Controls inventory.
- Develops annual budget.
- Oversees the reconciliation of suppliers' and customers' accounts, and prepares bank reconciliation statements.

JOB REQUIREMENT

- B. Sc. Or HND in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years combined experience in Financial & Management Accounting and Credit Control garnered preferably within the manufacturing industry;
- Proven ability to generate and analyze management information in good time;
- Possession of a recognized professional qualification such as ACA and membership of ICAN is mandatory;
- Computer literacy with proficiency in the application of MS Word, Excel. and  PowerPoint is mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills.
