Pedagogue: Fellow Nigerians, I think 6-1 score line is a good result ON PAPER!!!

D confederations cup is a different ball game...All the teams innit are winners from different continents. So, even if Tahiti fielded carpenters or artisans..that is none of our business!!! D truth is, Nigeria did not just defeat Tahiti, we defeated a whole continent!!! I've been listening to the rubbish the hypocritical Britsih press has been spewing about Nigeria...my take is IF ENGLAND is that good, why are they not in Brazil? They are just a bunch of jealous fellas!!!

And again,I actually believe that Nigeria played a bit amateurish because we were playing against Tahiti!!! Against Uruguay & Spain, I'm sure we will see an improved performance.

Nevertheless, IDEYE and MUSA were just awful today...I still cannot believe that these guys are being paid dollars by European clubs...It's not only because of the chances they missed, their attitude sucks- They carried on with a very stupid ' I don't care attitude ' . I do not know why Keshi likes this IDEYE guy so much...He wasted loads of scoring chances during Afcon and he has been doin the same since then!!!

Below is my player ratings

Enyeama- 4/10
Ambrose- 5/10
Echiejile- 7/10
Oboabona-5/10
Omeruo- 6/10
Mikel- 5/10
Ogude-5/10
Mba-3/10
Oduamadi-8/10 MVP*
Musa-3/10
Ideye-1/10
Mikel 5/10?? Na highlight u watch? Only dat killer pass to Ideye is worth 10/10

seunlayi: as much as i dislike Mikel inputs during Nigeria matches. He has gradually work himself into my mind, his game has really improved, he makes me to remember Jay-jay of those days. Hope he can keep this up.

How dare you compare Mikel with Jay-Jay? - that's blasphemy!!

Jay-Jay was more than a footballer, he was a magician. He's the most skillful and technical African player ever, IMHO. His shooting technique was supreme(at the latter stage of his career). You can't even compare his passing range with Mikel's. Jay-Jay was the toast of English football fans and was a regular on the EPL's weekly best 11.

Don't compare the two, please. Two different players.

Just learnt that Tahiti scored 20 goals in 5 matches at the Oceania cup, a competition that parades New Zealand and Australia, two world cup teams. Remember New Zealand were the only team to go unbeaten at athe last world cup.

Actually Australia is no longer in Oceania they moved and have been accepted to Asia, their last WC qualifier was against japan.

Actually it seems more like a psychological thing if you ask me. Notice how everybody tries to dribble to score including Mba. It is psychological in the sense that they are not confident of scoring except it is an open post with no interference.

This is the absurdity nigeria is paying thousands of dollars? For kicking a bloody ball around a field? Meanwhile children are dying of hunger somewhere in nigeria as we speak? This is where nigerians will never complain;;;football! What good has football done to this nation? How better are the lives of nigerians since we won AFCON? Idiotic nation.

Remember folks, if Omeruo gets another yellow card on Thursday, he will miss the Spain match.

Nonetheless, I think Egwuekwe can do a good job against the Spaniards.

dozai: At least we have started separating footballers from farmers.
1 mba will loose his place
2. musa is an impact player. good for sub.
3. ideye better as a support striker
4. ogude is a potential red card.
5. oboabona reactions has been slow and is still slow. Omeruo has been covering him up.
6. echiejile is not yet there.
If we start playing on Sundays, I doubt that number 1. Trust me.

That's one of the negative aspects of the Samba style of play the SE has largely imported. Neymar did the same thing too in Brazil's game against Japan; trying ridiculous step-overs when he could have passed to a teammate. Spain's brand of football emphasises collectivity/team work. The likes of Xavi and Iniesta only dribble when it is ABSOLUTELY necessary.

Nigeria beating Spain is not a suprise, they were betrothed to us for a long time ago but we are going to pay their dowry.

Oduamadi's post-match reaction: "[Tahiti] came out to fight like lions. It was a little bit difficult to up our game. You know you're playing against a team where, with the greatest respect to Tahiti, you think everything's easy. They showed us that they can play football. That's what we saw."-FIFA.com
