Jay-Jay was more than a footballer, he was a magician. He's the most skillful and technical African player ever, IMHO. His shooting technique was supreme(at the latter stage of his career). Actually Australia is no longer in Oceania they moved and have been accepted to Asia, their last WC qualifier was against japan.

That's one of the negative aspects of the Samba style of play the SE has largely imported. Neymar did the same thing too in Brazil's game against Japan; trying ridiculous step-overs when he could have passed to a teammate. Spain's brand of football emphasises collectivity/team work. The likes of Xavi and Iniesta only dribble when it is ABSOLUTELY necessary.
