Post and Telecommunications Department = P&T was responsible for postal and domestic telecommunications services.

Nigerian External Communications Limited (NECOM), also known as Nigerian External Telecommunications Limited (NET) was responsible for telecommunications services between Nigeria and the rest of the world.

In 1985, P&T was broken up into two; Posts Department and Telecommunications Department. NECOM was absorbed by the Telecommunications Department. They were both commercialised. The Posts Department became Nigerian Postal Services Limited (NIPOST), while the Telecommunications Department became Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (Nitel).

When that building was commissioned by Brigadier Shehu Musa Yar'Adua, it was christened NECOM HOUSE. It's official name is NECOM HOUSE, although people have also called it Net Building and Nitel Building.

Are you people naive or you are merely pretending to be naive? Either way, I can't say which is worse. So you expect Tinubu to come out openly to declare he owns the property or to put his name in CAC documents as the owner of this or that? Or you expect him to be visiting the construction site daily to monitor progress of work? How many investments have you been able to trace to any of the looters in Nigeria - including the likes of IBB and the countless former and serving heads of state, governors, ministers, etc? Do.you know what proxies and fronts are? Na wa for some of una.

so we should now believe your witchcraft illusions and assumptions over facts abi? The money used to build that thing was borrowed from t'he bank! And t'he bank kept coming to monitor t'he project till it was completed. I worked on t'he project so i know, infact for your information t'he hotel site while it was under construction was short down several times by t'he lagos state government, siting environmental nusance and pumping concrete using t'he lagos state government road, infact they had to bribe lagos state government official severally to have t'he site opened each time it was closed down. If na tinubu hotel who will dare to close it down while it was still under construction! Dem never born d' person! Another tin t'he indian company who are t'he owners of t'he hotel maintained any office on site throught t'he construction. Am not assuming! I join buiLd t'he hoteL. Shekana!!

Wow, when people talk like this, its really interesting. this is the problem with Nigeria, not saying it doesnt happen elsewhere. but people need to learn to process information and speak the truth not what they hear or believe to be true.

Facts.

Milan Industries Limited signed a technical Agreement with the Intercontinental Hotel Group to manage this Building/Hotel

Milan Industries is owned by the Valechhas. the Chairman Ramesh Valechha is a Nigerian.

they have no affiliation to any known Nigerian politician and they are very shrewd businessmen. you can find details of this on their website www.milannigeria.com

the building was financed by banks.

you can go to the hotel and tourism board or you can search NTDA, all the hotel business even the Hotel letter head states that the Hotel is owned by Milan Industries.

lets stop fighting each other on forums over things that wont bring bread to your table.

Truth has spoken one love

That's because some misguided miscreants using multiple accts have derailed the thread.

1. I build a building
2. I decide to turn it into a hotel
3. I hire Intercontinental to operate the hotel and to put their brand name on the building.

This building is owned by Indians and is operated by the British. It has nothing to do with Tinubu, or any politician. Can we all please get back to the pictures of the building?
TYou are right. my company supplied and installed all the internal SIGNS

You really need to step up your interior design game.

I'm sure you're not aware of the "Minimalist approach" to interior design. People don't clutter up spaces any longer. Those large windows with the view of V.I is enough to look at without over-crowding the room with distractions.

Yeah, wall to wall carpets and rugs are also not in vogue any longer. Tiles/marble flooring with center carpets are what's trending.
