I just wanted to say the same thing! Racism is still high in Brazil. You will only see black brazilians in physical sports alone. Even their girls are not allowed to come up as models.

What the white racist Americans think does matter. Why? Because even with one drop of black blood, you're subjected to racism and oppression. As a pan-Africanist, our movement is about overcoming that oppression, and so we have to include all of our people who are oppressed by white on black racism.

What they meant is that there are Caucasians in those regions and not everyone in those regions are Caucasians. The term "Caucasian" is associated with people with very white skin and not just every so-called white person.
