Emerging rapper Lil Snupe, a recent signee to Meek Mill's Dream Chasers label, died this morning (June 20), according to multiple sources including AllHipHop and XXL. The 18-year old Louisiana rapper was reportedly shot and killed, though no official details, including the location, have been released. Sources tell Billboard the artist lives in Baton Rouge, however no homicides with a similarly aged victim occurred in the area overnight. Some previous articles written about Snupe have listed Jonesboro, La., about 80 miles east of Shreveport, as his hometown.
