I just bought the Gionee P2 but haven't rooted it.I found out that when using droidvpn and MTN BIS, the only thing I can do successfully is surf the internet with the opera mini browser and text-chat on whatsapp.I can't access Play store. keeps bringing up the error message 'No Connection.. Retry'.YouTube also doesn't work while I cant send or receive files like pictures and videos or even voice messages on whatsapp.. Can just only text-chat on whatsapp..But when i subscribed for normal MTN data plan,I could do all of these.This was never the case with my previous phone, tecno N3.I could do all of these also without issues ,even though I use the same droidvpn app with MTN BIS..Anyone has/had similar issues, help a brother out please, cheers.

SECONDLY:CLICK HERE TO KNOW SOME TIPS ABOUT UR PHONE, HOW TO ROOT IT, INSTALL CLOCK-WORK-MOD, INSTALL DRIVERS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FLASH THE CHINESE FIRMWARE. WITHOUT CHINESE FIRMWARE(AMIGO ROM), U CANNOT INSTALL CUSTOM ROMS.




XPERIA HD v2
CLICK_HERE

HOW 2 INSTALL:
1. Place the downloaded file
(Xperia_HD_v2_A900.zip) in
your sdcard
2. Turn off your phone
3. Go into recovery mode by
pressing and holding Volume
Button UP + Power key simultaneously
4. First make a BACKUP of your
current ROM so if you mess up
somewhere you can go back to
your old ROM
5. Select backup and restore and
then select backup .Wait for
few minutes untill it completes.
6. Now go back and Select Wipe/
Data Factory Cache
7. Now Select Wipe Cache
Partition
8. Now go to Advanced and select
Wipe Dalvik Cache
9. Go back to the main menu of
recovery mode
10. Now select Install zip from
SDCARD
11. Choose the file ”Xperia_HD_v2_A900.zip”
12. Wait for 5-10 minutes for the
ROM to flash completely.
13. Once its done go back to main
menu and reboot your phone
14. Your new Xperia HD ROM is

PERSONAL VERDICT:There's a total black screen display after boot up when u install this rom on GiONEE E3

Solution: Replace boot.img file
To successfully install this rom, Unzip the custom rom(MIUI v5.zip) and replace the boot.img with ur stock boot.img, Zip it up and Flash!!!




XOLO LIQUID

pls is gionee m1 gionee product it comes wit a 4.65inc,5mp nd 0.3mp cam andriod 4.1and 3000mah ba3 saw it here in onitsha it sells for 22000#

Guys I downloaded Batman apk and cache from Android.mob.org. and I tried to extract the cache but It kept telling me cache was corrupt. I have deleted it and downloaded the cache again buh still, it keeps giving me "corrupt zip format" and even the archive is empty

I've been having the same problem. I switched on my Wi-Fi and I removed my proxy and port setting but no change. the same thing keeps happening. could someone help out,please? I downloaded framaroot 1.6 so I think it'd rooted.
