@ Kopell: Southern part of Kaduna city. This area is about 70% developed. There is electricity supply already and not as far as Gonin Gora or even Sabo.

Well done cavicent19. Some questions.
Is this a one plot land, 60x120?
I did not see any german floor done, will this be done later?
Your cost is very well managed. I wish I can accomplish the same level in Lagos environ with that cost.

1. the plot is one plot and measurement here at Kaduna is 50 x 100
2. The german floor will be done later for the flooring. However, we filled the blocks hole at foundation with concrete mix. We also cast concrete of about 3 inches on the foundation (mini german floor.

1. Yes, I know in some area/parts a plot is 50x100, I asked because you manage the fund very well for the fence.
2. Yes, I saw the concrete filling, which is why I asked, that is very good so when the german floor is
ready there will be no problem with knowing the level.. I like that too.. God bless your house.

Last question please, what is the dimension of the building, I mean Length and Width?.
I cannot tell from the floor plan you posted, not clear enough.

Hi Sir,

im loving your project. Im one of the silent follower of the tread. Now i had to comment because i was waiting for time when moderate ppl starts posting, not all the big pocket that are building big houses on here so far. I believe we Nigerian need to start small and progress with time, not trying to be millionaire overnight.

I have start my projects too, but i anticipate for it to be slow for the time being because i just secure a little home for my family in the US too. But im bring something different from the regular home trend in Naija now.

keep up the good work and God will help you complete it soon. I so encourage by your project. as a matter of fact, i will wire some money into my project account tomorrow. lol

Wood Works-
2 x 2 - 190 qty @ N250 = N47,500.00
2 x 3 - 280 qty @ N375 = N105,000.00
2 x 4 - 180 qty @ N500 = N90,000.00
1 x 12 - 18 qty @ N1,500 = N27,000.00
Nails = N20,500.00
Treatment of woods = N13,500.00
Transportation of wood = N18,000.00

Total = N321,500.00

Labour for rafter and ceiling noggin - N100,000.00

Aluminum Work -

Total aluminum length of 321m
cost of aluminum plus accessories and transportation = N485,000.00
Installation = N35,000.00

Total = N520,000.00

Total Cost of roofing - N941,500.00

Yeah! He was doing good with his expenses and given that the house is also in the North (Kaduna).. it would have been nice to see the comparison in expenses as against the South.

New updates:
1. We have done both electrical and mechanical piping
2. We have plastered the wall with both iron burglary and aluminium frames installed
3. We have equally installed window hoods and ornament works for the outdoor pillars and dinning section

Pictures are shown below.
I will post the various pricing later.

Front and rear doors have been fixed.

We equally used alluminium sheets for the external ceiling.
