I moved to magboro a 10 minutes drive from Lagos in 2011, and I can tell you that as far public electricity is concern, I have not enjoyed up to a week of light for 2 years now. What I mean is that in two months we may only enjoy 3 hours of light, that is how horrible the light situation is in that area. I spent average of N18,000 every month to fuel my generators and I wonder if there is any area worst than this in Nigeria.

will still say things have gotten better interms of electricity supply atleast in this part of the country.

And btw,
I don't believe your statement, "8 hours of light in 1 week...".

[/quote] 8hrs of constant elrctricity a week is a luxury compared to wot is given to us here in Hotoro area of kani state.

This is our country and we have a God given right to complain. Today na light tomorrow na school and maybe next week will be about food prices. That's why we are called Nigerians. Keep enjoying your fresh with your oyibos. But don't come here and make an mockery of yourself. That abroad, some of us have been there and done that.

In Ondo town, Ondo State power has improved tremendously from about 6-8hrs/day when I first arrived in January to 21+ hours yesterday. Whatever the Ministry of Power is up to is yielding very good results here.

In port harcourt rumuagholu to be precise it been over 6 months that we see a blink of light, and this a place that links to the airport
Re: Electricity Situation In Your Area by Penboy: 1:00pm On Jul 06, 2013
In Igando, Lagos state, there's constant supply of power. We've been having 24hours of electricity daily for the past 100years. I heard they're planning to increase it to 26hours daily. Rubbish. Stewpeed PHCN. When God has said let there be light and there was light, why are they going contrary to Jehovah's commandment.
