Males are usually stripped of anything that they can use to harm themselves and others (belt, wristwatch, etc). Usually females are not stripped, but there have been cases in which women have been stripped. This unfortunately occurs around the world. There was an incident in which policemen and women stripped an american women because, according to them "she was a danger to herself" (the video's on youtube).

@ op why don't you go to ministry of women affairs in abuja or google the site to get their phone numbers.this is so unfair and wicked however the ministry of women affairs will need you to give them evidence so that they can defend you in court,you know nigerian police men are liars,they can turn the tables round against you.they can say you are an armed robber or rapist. You can also go to national council of women societies,victoria island.I used to have the numbers of the lawyers there but not any more however I can give you a number of one of the women activist.I still have his complimentary card.he will hook you up to the right people who will take up your case.I hope you have substantial evidence not just mouth say because if not all efforts will be wasted.pm me if you want me to help you take it up legally

Op my advice is that you should let it go since they didn't molest your sister.Like you said she didn't later strip.If you take it up what will you accuse them of?Moreover you said you don't have evidence.
