The simple thing that gives this story up as a farce is the fact that she dropped out of school. If she really converted to Islam on her own, she didn't need to drop out of school. That she dropped out and went to stay with the emir shows this interview is fake. Let her live her life freely if you really believe she genuinely converted. The emir is not the police. Even her father cannot stop her from believing what she wants to belive. There are many guys here on NL who are atheist but whose parents are pastors and nothing has happened to them.

Roserbert: Atimes, its always good τ̲̅ȍ put ourselves in people's shoe before we condemn their acts, let's out sentiments aside.
Let's try and see the girl's act from this point, you sent your daughter τ̲̅ȍ school, let's assume, you continue paying all the required monies, and after a year or two you, you got call that your beloved daughter has ran into one emir's palace, she has ceased τ̲̅ȍ be a student, let's not even bring religion into this, who would you feel?

They sent you to school, you quit schooling and u didn't return home.

Some questions I'll av love τ̲̅ȍ ask d girl, @25...
1. Why did you decide τ̲̅ȍ quit school? Did you failed, were you rusticated, or just got tired it?

2. Why did you decided not τ̲̅ȍ go home after you stop going τ̲̅ȍ school.

3. Were you forced τ̲̅ȍ go to school against your wish?

4. Have you ever had any strong misunderstanding with your parents, about what you want τ̲̅ȍ be in life prior τ̲̅ȍ your conversion, that makes you think, your parents' home would no longer be safe for you now that you have changed your faith?

5. When have you stopped going τ̲̅ȍ school?

6. Where were you staying between when you stopped going τ̲̅ȍ school and January that you ran τ̲̅ȍ the palace?

7. Does it means after you stopped going τ̲̅ȍ school, you were still going home τ̲̅ȍ collect school fees and pocket money, with the impression that you are still a student, as ape people do, and when the wind is about blowing the secret, you know in your heart of heart that, you are not worthy of looking into your parents' eyes, then, you absconded.

8. Your father is a Pastor, were your parents too hash on you when you were staying with them?

These and many more are questions I would have love τ̲̅ȍ ask the girl in question. Even as in my own perspective, the interview is one side, and journalism says a writer is not suppose τ̲̅ȍ align himself with the oppressor against the oppressed. I rest my case.

Many of us still fails τ̲̅ȍ notice sometin in d write-up, everything is not about religion, let's talk some senses here....

If she has been such a good girl, why did she quit schooling without her parents knowing...
She quit school after first year, now she's 25, she suppose τ̲̅ȍ have graduated by now, where has she been all this while? Probably, her poor parent have started noticing, she should av graduated by now, then she is using religion τ̲̅ȍ cover-up.

There is absolutely nothing anyone can do now to make the lady change her mind.
i had a sister who was once in her shoe, until the hypnotized fell off her eye
she even got married to them and bear kids for her husband, but right now
she understood better.we did everything possible to discourage her then but all to no avail.
it was not only the issue of been hypnotized but they have a way of brainwashing other fellow
to accept their will.
i have a brother who attend the same Bida Poly,he can testify to this statement
i will only employ her parent to give her time.it will soon fell off her eye
and also to the nairalands that we should educate our wards on who they follow
and this is done majorly through dinning and winning with them.
that is,(Atenuje)

This is a spiritual battle that should not be fought physically. The pastor should know that. I also heard the case of a corp member that got married to a fulani. She publicly told her parent she was not going with them because she has found her hubby, a cattle rearer. A sensible person will know that someone in her right senses will not seek to dine with the devil especially when you are aware of the outcome which is HELL. She needs our prayer right now.
Re: Nobody Forced Me To Accept Islam, Convert Insists by mbhs139(m): 4:47pm On Jul 27, 2013
The way some people talk about Islam and describes Muslims on this thread is as if they have never met a Muslim nor had anything nor any good experience with a Muslim before. And this are supposedly educated people.

One is not surprised; it is only natural for people to feel this way given the present reality on ground. As a Muslim, we are going through a lot of challenges at the moment due to the few bad eggs among us. But In Sha Allah, we shall come out of this for good. Allah in His Mercy will see us through. That I know for sure!

lol, this is funny.

so, she chose the nomadic life over a city one? Not saying anything's wrong with that, but its usually oyibos who like that kind of thing. Not southerners.

too many funny stories full here, lord have mercy.

but, why do our nollywood celebrities never do anything like that even when they say they're marrying for love? They always make sure their paramours are well placed and with feet firmly grounded in a southern region, not even a northern one.
