Chitexs250: How do you measure the goodness of a presidency? It is unfortunate that most Nigerians have never experienced other countries. In what ways did Yar'Adua move Nigeria towards becoming a functional modern day nation? Of all the people that have ruled this country after Yakubu Gowon, Obasanjo was the first to start moving this country towards functioning properly. It is only unfortunate that he derailed along the way; he started very wonderfully well. After Obasanjo, GEJ is the next person that is moving Nigeria towards great progress. The mere fact that he knows that the key to Nigeria's development is steady electricity supply and that he is doing something about it, places him in the position of possibly being the best president ever. Consider the issue of reducing corruption, many may have forgotten the extent of corruption in NITEL; very much like you find in PHCN today. Obasanjo ended NITEL's corruption without hanging any person for being corrupt. He simply enabled a functional telecoms system to come into being and telecoms corruption reduced sharply. If GEJ takes care of electricity supply, next in line should be the Police, followed by the universities. |

Youngtekkey: u are a fool which of ur institutions can meet up OAU GO CHECK THE LIST OF BEST UNIVERSITIES IN NIGERIA AND EVEN IN AFRICAN THEN U WILL SEE THAT YORUBA UNIVERSITIES SUPER HEAD THOSE UP SO CALLED UNIVERSITY THAT PRODUCE GREAT PEOPLE The reality is that Nigeria's educational system is dysfunctional, including all the universities. The condition of Nigeria today is a result of its educational system. |

ask yourself nigerian. why would a whiteman be the governor general from the so call call said independent on october 1st and not a black person. the answer is. nigeria was not a country but a union of 3 separate state. a protectorate are independent nation with military or diplomatic tie with another. azikiwe declared him self a republic , you can see he was wearing a military uniform to send the message to britain and the Queen of england i am ready to fight , if anyone trys to stop me. because azikiwe did not respect the wish or right of the other 2 protectorate. any of the 3 can leave nigeria. you can see in the video that western nigeria was not part of what he did was it independent when a whiteman was still in control. it was not, but a geography expression. it tell you. and azikiwe was an abuser of power, who disrespected the wish of the people of western nigeria and they occupy the land Sir James Wilson Robertson 1 October 1960 to 16 November 1960 after independent why.. 3 protectorate |

the governor general was just a mere position to oversee some protectorate. and not president. see uganda , ghana etc. abuse of power of a black man call azikiwe. Governors of Uganda protectorate, 1910–1962 Sir Harry Cordeaux: 1910 – 1911 Sir Frederick Jackson: 1911 – 1918 Sir Robert Coryndon: 1918 – 1922 Sir Geoffrey Archer: 1922 – 1925 Sir William Gowers: 1925 – 1932 Sir Bernard Henry Bourdillon: 1932 – 1935 Sir Philip Mitchell: 1935 – 1940 Sir Charles Dundas: 1940 – 1945 Sir John Hathorn Hall: 1945 – 1952 Sir Andrew Cohen: 1952 – 1957 Sir Frederick Crawford: 1957 – 1961 Sir Walter Coutts: 1961 – 1962 |

Re: Nnamdi Azikiwe Sworn In As Nigeria's First President (Video) by musiwa36: 5:54pm On Aug 02, 2013 |
you had 3 protectorate too in Rhodesia and Nyasaland Zimbabwe, Malawi zambia a governor general is just a overseer who visit this protectorate . but when the queen made a mistake by appointing azikiwe as the governor general. he declare himself president of the 3 protectorate. azikiwe can not declare himself president of western nigeria or north but only eastern nigeria. that is not allowed in international law. |

Re: Nnamdi Azikiwe Sworn In As Nigeria's First President (Video) by musiwa36: 7:18pm On Aug 02, 2013 |
here is the issue, nigeria is not a country. the queen appoint a governor general who was suppose to visit some protectorate. which constituted under the area of nigeria like north america. that man azikiwe was appointed an igbo man instead of doing his job by relating with each protectorate , he made himself president of all protectorate and kick out the queen. he jail western nigeria leaders to make himself president and kick out the queen and declare a republic. so nigeria is not a country. but a result of occupation by igboman call azikiwe. so when his people lost power. they now wanted back their sovereignty the north said no. you start it. we remain one and not 3 any more. |

if you look at this video which is 1960 that you post before 1963 that azikiwe claim he had republic at the same venue. you will see that in 1960.. race course lagos had stands for people to sit on. So i believe Azikiwe was just a scam artist who scam western nigeria for 50 years.
