The only change I would make is a ramp instead of a back-door. vehicle is quite tall (a good thing in the bush), so getting in/out will be relatively slow. With a ramp you can egress very quickly. I am sure they have their reasons though, so dont take it as a criticism.

I hope to see some variants start coming out after the base model has been approved - ambulance, fire-support, communications/HQ, logistics.

Can you give a pictorial analysis like the one you gave last time?
You were the one right?

The truth is the first casualty of war.
They actually smuggled weapons as they airlifted Food. This was corroborated by Rtd.Brig. Gen.Alabi- Isama in his book "The tragedy of Victory".Matter would come to a head when one such plane was tracked from Sao Tome by the NAF.The plane was radioed and directed to land, the Plane's Pilot refused( Out of sheer arrogance) The Plane was subsequently shot down.It would be the First time the NAF would shoot down a plane mid air.
Other planes flown by these Mercenaries would be shot down by Anti Aircraft Fire.

The latest variant of Proforce Defence MRAP officially handed over to the Nigerian army today.

The Nigerian army needs to commit to buying a minimum 200 units.

Indeed 200 is not a bad idea. But even 50 for a start would gladden my heart knowing the penchant for purchase from multiple sources abroad. Already looks like stuff would be coming to the Army from the Southies. Proforce like other Nigerian firms must do better at lobbying for sales.

The Senate is already fuming having just discovered 162 million dollars was withdrawn in March 2018 from the federation account for purchase of helicopters. They are now demanding hearings into the matter from the CBN and Ministry of Defence.

For a Nigerian company, 50 is small. If we can afford to get 120 units CS-VP3 from China, 177 APCs from Streit group, i see no reason why we can't get 200 units of this beast.

Innoson still has its own armoured vehicles in the pipeline, including a fresh new company based in Lagos.

I just want to see a 6x6 variant of the ARA, something similar and armed like the Nexter TITUS.

Wow! That feels like a turn on. You're right on the money. A whole new level. If the Army orders on the existing production line is good or export numbers turn up would be a great incentive for the companies to push the limits.

Not unimaginable but still the Senate inquiry is good for checks and balances. People always steal one way or another even in civilized climes. I think it's welcome. You can imagine that huge sum of money was withdrawn without anyone getting the wiser.

Guess many don't have a idea of the composition of work force of private companies both regular and contractual.

Private companies try to get the experienced hired to work on their projects

That CIA guy is most probably an employee of proforce. grin
