FREE FROM CONDEMNATION

MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.



This message is not for those indulging in sin and making a mockery of the grace of God. It is for well meaning Christians who miss it from time to time. Such people shouldn’t dwell on their wrongs and mistakes; they need to move on.



To condemn is to express complete disapproval or to declare something unfit for use. Condemnation pronounces you unable to do what God has said you can do. It tells you that you cannot succeed, be happy, fulfilled, have children, be prosperous and healthy. It prevents you from seeing the greatness in you.



Condemnation makes you believe that you are lacking in an area of your life. It is the reason many Christians believe that the length of their prayer determines how fast their prayers will be answered. It is the reason many believers serve in God’s house not because they love God but because they think their works will gain them points with God.



To rid yourself of condemnation, establish yourself in your identity as a son of God (Gal 4:7) and also train your heart. Your heart will no longer condemn you when you train it in line with the word. 1 John 3:20 says that God is GREATER than our hearts. Thus, if God does not condemn youN you have no right condemning yourself.



CONFESSION: The power of the life giving Spirit has freed me has freed me from the vicious circle of condemnation.



Prayer: Every condemnatory thought responsible for repeated circles of failure in my life is gone in Jesus’ name.
