Work is moving on here, we brought in more materials to yhis site yesterday, more chipping stone, wood, sand etc. More of my men arriving from different sites. Work will start here today, pictures as soon as I correct my internet connectivity problems. |

Happy to have a project here as this will give people in diaspora some insight as to cost of labor, materials in Owerri area. I am following on, cheers. What size of granite is used at this stage and what is the cost per tipper load Is there a current sources for cost of materials? Its an area Nigerians should be encouraged to develop such data base online so people could consult such sites and have some inisghts |

civilianism: @spyder880 Welcome, the steps you saw in the last pictures are for casting of the column bases. Those holes will be filled with concrete before we place the iron mats on top of them. Thereafter we cast the foundation blinding a further 300mm before laying blocks on them. The pictures I will send this night will make the above explanation clearer. |

If after German floor you feel there is need for more pillars what could be done. Could you add more rods to the existing ones to strengthen them like making it 6 instead of usual 4?. What is your opinion. Thanks Also what is the cement:sand:concrete ratio for this cast here? It doesn't look like there is enough water in the mix |
