holyvirgin: @op I understand your plight.
Kogi state is a dissapointment, those days we use to think kogi state should be like paris you know...
With obajana cement
Itakpe iron ore
Ajaokuta steel plant
A place where river benue and niger meets
the second largest state with coal deposit, I also heard they have gold too but for where!
Jesus igala ppl are so backward and has nothing to offer the state. Stingy set of people with inferiority complex and low self esteem, they claim to be the majority tribe but they aren't smart enough to look inward and develop their state.
Shame on all kogi people who have allowed bad leaders rule them just because they feel its their right.
Vote another tribe for true change
shut up and stop ranting,we should vote another tribe in our state. God forbid! Why don't a hausa man vote an igbo man to govern their state or an igbo vote a hausa man to rule. Okun should go back to yoruba land and stop spiting rubbish here. @ OP hold ur representative and LG chairman responsible for ur plight and leave Igala governors alone. Don't even dream of ur people as governor in kogi state because it will not happen,Igala's are not divided like your people that are scattered everywhere. Go to yorubaland and rule them. Rubbish

i would have support you as well, but you sound more defending your igala people than the issue at hand. also you lied when you said they paid SSCE for 10 years, pls prove it.
Richie01: @Acidosis!

It's really very disheartening that the state has been from bad to worse in recent yrs...

But your idea of seizing that opportunity to insult the Igala people and as well spew hatred towards them has killed my zeal and enthusiasm to support you on this.

You talk as if Igalas does not kick against em too... If you must know, corruption is ubiquitous everywhere in Nigeria, Kogi as a state isn't an exception.

For the record, these men have done other good things for the state even when those things weren't/are consistent.

It baffles me how you think that Okun as a people are better than the Igalas, that's a shabby act of reasoning.

You act as if the Igalas are plagues whom you don't even want to co-habbit with... I wonder why you think you are better than them. Such a huge shame.

Way back in my university days, I had friends from your tribe whom are good people and are humble, sometimes, they follow me to my home for weekends... I teach some of them on some courses and I didn't even look down on any of them.

These governors paid all SSCE fees for more than 10yrs, they have built houses under the housing units in the state, they have been instrumental to relative peace in the state.

Once more, if they are as selfish as you portray em, then, why would Ibrahim change the name of the state university to KSU?

Lokoja water works, double lane township roads in all LG of the state.

It's so funny how you won't talk about your house of assembly representatives and your local govt chairmen and councillors on how they have failed too...

Why are you painting us black? What do you gain from doing that? Why do you think you people are better than us? Why do you act as if my people are plagues? Why are you generalizing things about us?

Before the merging of a part of Kwara and the Igalas from Bendel or so.. the word Kogi never existed..

Meaning, the coming together of your people with the Okuns and Ebiras etc brought about the state..
So madam ignorance, what exactly are you talking about?

Oh, aint you one of the girls the politicians share together in hotels in Lokoja and environs??

I don't have your time now, okay..
Cos you'll never understand my point until I kick your type and your smelly godfathers and sugar daddies out of sits...
Until then... continue to ulter trash.

it baffles me when young and vibrant people of kogi state instead of seeking the way forward and coming together to work towards making the state better will just be pooing rubbish about,it won't help develop the state neither will it affect the people embezzling the money meant for development. If you are ashame of your root then you are also useless, shameless and a bad product of kogi state. We don't even need you in kogi state.

Instead of juxtaposing parameters before conclusion, your sense of judgement is so clouded that you refused to use ur brain.

Edo state almost went into abyss courtesy Lucky Igbenedion (PDP) until Adams (ACN) came to their rescue. Same thing goes to Ogun state when Gbenga Daniels milked the state until Sen. Ibikunle came in. Other ones are Osun, Oyo, Imo etc...

Instead of blaming political parties, your fruitless hatred for a particular tribe won't let you.

I do not hate any tribe okay..

This is not about the party we belong or something..

Even the devil can wear a white garment.

ACN may be good, but that doesn't mean all PDP governors are non-performing..

Atleast we've heard of Delta, Rivers, Imo, Ondo (Labour Party), Jigawa, Kano..etc...

Its about MEN with vision.

grin grin Now I know you don't have a clue about what I was discussing, there is a difference between studying accountancy and becoming a chartered accountant. After or before graduation, you study and write the professional exams to become certified and its in different stages. The level you begin from depends on your course of study or the whether your department is ICAN accredited, KSU Accountancy department is not accredited by ICAN.

Arcbabe, it is because of ideas like this that our dear state is where it is today. Kutepa an experienced businessman, someone I can classify as the likes of Rochas Okorocha who would have helped develop Kogi state. Tribalism and fear made the Igalas refuse to vote him. Do you know how much wada remits to Ibro every month, no good project can be carried out because your people wants to rule at all cost even to the detriment of your own progress. How can a state develop which such lopsided views and aspirations. One day the igalas would be merged with the Idomas, and everything you have put other tribes through would be meted upon them too.
