Symphony007: Yesterday i reported on the decision of the joint health sector workers union nationwide to embark on a nationwide strike due to the federal government's decision not to obey the ruling of the national industrial court on better welfare packages for them.

Well, today the consequences has started hitting home as 15 premature babies incubated at the federal medical center, makurdi has been abandoned, mothers of the babies were seen crying and stranded not knowing where to go, the survival of the kids without incubation for a prolonged peroid of time is slim, other patients were also discharged without notice no matter their condition, some cried for help as they were stranded and others claimed they could not afford private hospital treatment. The same senerio played out at the UPTH and no doubth other federal health centers nationwide. FRESH AIR!!

Let the president look into the eyes of those sick patients and tell them the nurses and doctors who take care of them on little salaries are the enermies and they, the government who earn millions in abuja and have constituted a state of hoi pollio in this nation are the good guys.

Medical field is a humanitarian job its not about money.
Its so wrong to leave lives to die because u think u are not paid up to ur worth.
If u can't make a living with what Fg is paying, start a mini biz and combine it with ur job.

mind you the doctors are not on strike, maybe you should try and do your investigation properly b4 commenting, because the Doctors are not the only profesional working in the hospital, the health worker are only asking for equal right in the health sector, and not be treated like a second hand citizen in dia country, and if you graduated ur other colleagues are place on level 9 as entry point, but only u are place level 8 for no reason, just because the doctors dont like u and they are the head, you would just accept your faith, and you are not allow to get promotion upto a Director level in your profession, the DOCTORS are the problem of health sector.
