 Twinkle toes you make me crinkle my nose In laughter and in pleasure ‘cos you smell like a rose Your pimples cones, they wake me up just to think about you And each time I tell it to you that I love you so In an autumn dream with leaves all falling You came to me and held my heart through winter You gave me love, healed my soul and made me a winner I confess I don’t know how I’d first lived so long without you. Dangers come and go but when I know you’re near me I feel so strong and I know I’ll make it My blues are all gone all I sing are these lovey dovey tunes In this tiny fragment of time held in between two eternities Twinkle toes, look in my eyes and know this is real My heart is yours wherever you go I’ll love you whatever the seasons may bring And no matter what happens with me… You ‘ll always be the one for me. |
