Presbulg: Ronaldo went from ManU to Madrid, the last bus stop in football! Ibra left Milan to Barca, the best club at the time. He was shipped off from Barca because he flopped and went to PSG to make cool cash. Ronaldo Delima left Madrid at the peak of his career. Same with Zidane. Kaka left from Milan to Madrid, again, the last bus stop. Madrid does not sell their best players in their best form. They are not a selling club. Dont argue funny argument 1 Like |

theoctopus: 42.5 million for Ozil is a bad buy. Why Spend that amount for a player that is slow and lazy and never tracks back or defend. Wenger knows Arsenal fans are so desperate, they will accept anything. He could have gotten Suarez for 50 million instead and then Arsenal's season would have changed drastically. Ozil will not change Arsenal much. If he was that good, Madrid will not let him go. They would have sold Di Maria instead. Panic buy me thinks and the fans are rejoicing because they have been so starved. They are even calling it the signing of the summer. So delusional.you definitely sound fanatic like a Chelsea fan. Can you mention one Chelsea player that had 20+ assists last season like Ozil? It takes a common logic to know that without injury this guy will definitely improve Arsenal's chances of ending trophy drought. |

While isco is very good he is no playmaker like ozil Mesut Ozil is the better number 10 Ozil is up there with Iniesta, Silva and Mata as the best play maker in the world. Ozil is a key player, and is a great playmaker! Ozil is in any case more times useful than Angel Di Maria Özil was one of Madrid most consistent performers during the first half of the season, putting on good performances Ozil is one of the best right now Madrid is in the shadow of internal conflict this season, everyone in that team was not at their usual level but Ozil is still the more consistent attacker there. Ozil only had rough start because Mou benched him a lot earlier this season. But since October he never went more than 2 games without contributing goals and assists, that's more consistent than any name there like (Guti, Isco, Gotze). Ozil amazing back hell to Higuain was the reason of Ronaldo's winning goal vs United that qualified Madrid Ozil does choke in the big stage. I thought this year he'd put that away but oh no his performances against Man Utd, especially Borussia and Atleti have cemented his status as a big game choker. 2 Likes |

Easyfren: Your problem is just paucity of knowledge on football history. Go and learn again. I even have this for him: From BBC.CO.UK and independent.co.uk Ozil with his quick feet and outstanding technical ability, Ozil became a stalwart in the Madrid side during the 2011/12 campaign which saw the Spanish giants win La Liga under manager Jose Mourinho with Ozil again at the top of the assists chart, this time with 17. His form that season saw him nominated for the Uefa Best Player in Europe Award. rguably his most successful season, 2011/12 saw the midfielder's reputation grow even further following his inclusion in the Uefa Euro Team of the Tournament and the Uefa Team of the Year as his ability was recognised at both club and international levels. Whilst still putting in strong performances for Madrid the following season with an equal number of league assists to Lionel Messi and maintaining his place in the side despite the arrival of Luka Modric, Madrid finished without silverware and Mourinho departed the club. 1 Like |

If it was man utd that got him and arsenal signed fellaini, hell would let loose... Ozil is the complete version of RamseyI dont like ManU one bit but they did the better business today. Why, because they actually signed someone they need. That is the point I have been making. They needed a real midfield enforcer and they signed one. The idea is not to sign a fantastic player but one that you actually need. Arsenal's problem is not someone who will create chances or make good passes. You say you have signed the best 10 and yet that is Wilshere and Rosicky's positions and they are quite ok. You needed someone to play the song role and a good CB. Your defense is poor. You played 11 man defense all through second half on sunday, against a brand new spurs team that has not even blended. How will you handle a Dortmund? Kolshieny got lucky with a penalty and 2 yellows. He is a disaster waiting to happen this season. I dont mean to slate you guys like I said before, I was just discussing football. I understand this might not be the right time because you guys are carried away in the Euphoria. But I know exactly what I am saying 2 Likes |

theoctopus or na thefish, dunno wat u call ur freaky self, ur argument now is all about d choice of d signing Wenger made in Mesut, dat he's not a game changer. U just watch goals and not the game(football), i'm sure u know the difference. Are u trying to prove exclusively dat only strikers are game changers cos u mentioned a Suarez preference? Wat about d high end saves from goalkeepers, the touch-line goal-bound clearance from defenders, the counter attacking threats blocked by defensive midfielders, the inch perfect through-pass from d attacking midfielders, the converted set-pieces from any specialist from d team and o'cos d clinical finish from d attackers? Ur view of d game is laterally myopic. From ur posts, it shows u're either a madrid or manure fan, it hurts to loose a quality like dat in madrid, though he mite not be getting enuff playing time bt will surely add depth to d team, and we all know d obvious cancer in d manure's team, a creative quality like Ozil, it hurts to loose such like him to arsenal, i feel ur pains bro. Ozil mite be lazy off d ball but damaging on d ball, he'll mk up for d former, thanks for d notice. |

@ theoctopus. It's as if you're paid to antagonize Arsenal's signing of Ozil. If he went to Chelsea, it would've been a great signing, but it's Arsenal, so it's wrong signing. Can you mention one Chelsea player that is currently a great passer of the ball like Ozil? A good player is not all about scoring goals. How many goals did Zidaine score? On a counselling note, go and learn football history. |

FROM A CHELSEA FAN- 1.SKYSPORTS comment thread As a football fan i'm delighted to see such a brilliant player come to Arsenal. As a Chelsea fan i'm twice has happy to see one of the best midfielders in Europe in Arsenal epl. Well done Arsenal, got a great signing , Ozil is a world class midfielder nd i must confess he's incoparable with any midfielder in the EPL, can only compete with iniesta & Arjen robben 1 Like |
