Davo93: Quite unfortunate and bad that Everstar's Cape Verde lost out! I think its gradually becoming a sure thing that Nigeria will face a north African team since Egypt and Tunisia are not going to be seeded.
*crying* why did Fifa have to do this to my country? Is unfair o

its becoming fashionable thing for fancy african teams these days to do background checks of players after they are beaten on the field by minnows

So sad for the Cape Verde , an opportunity for the Tunisian coach to amend his errors , will the Tunisia FA allow Nabil Maaloul come back to coach the team

Pity. This could probably be Cape Verde's best shot at qualifying for the world cup in a long time to come.

So Nigeria is ranked third best African team despite dropping by one position in the overall ranking.

Well, our potential opponents remain unchanged.

Yes it is true. He had a medical condition in 2005 and he was not cleared by any doctor before that game against Malawi.

Why would anybody do your job for you? It's Cape Verdean FA's fault.

Nobody would have remembered because it was inconsequential, but if by any chance it was discvered, they will be sanctioned by the 3 points deduction and fine rule.

Thank God that tunisia was seeded.
I was afraid that our chance of meeting a north african team would increase with the ouster of cape verde.

I know Algeria and tunisia won't be plotted with egypt, north africa tinz, so egypt would most likely be plotted with civ, ghana or naija.

many complaints about

World Cup qualifiers land on
Fifa's desk daily

....Ironically, Cape Verde were
awarded the points from the
match in March, when Varela was
sent off, after Fifa ruled
opponents Equatorial Guinea had
used an ineligible player.
Equatorial Guinea originally won
the match 4-3 only for the result
to be overturned when Fifa
decided Emilio Nsue Lopez did
not meet eligibility rules on
nationality....

what goes around comes around.
