R2bees1: AFRiCA AFRICA AFRIcA!! I wonder how
many complaints about
player ineligibility in African
World Cup qualifiers land on
Fifa's desk daily
Africa is too backward.
I am sure the big wigs at FIFA will be shaking their heads in bewilderment.

Cape Verde might regret this lost opportunity.Another opportunity will be in the next four years.Who knows, they might not be in contention or relevant again.Truly,I weep for them.

pat077: ....[b]Ironically, Cape Verde were
awarded the points from the
match in March, when Varela was
sent off, after Fifa ruled
opponents Equatorial Guinea had
used an ineligible player.
Equatorial Guinea originally won
the match 4-3 only for the result
to be overturned when Fifa
decided Emilio Nsue Lopez did
not meet eligibility rules on
nationality....
And they still did not learn!

Burkina faso may be out as well, according to Congo, Niger used ineligible player!
Re: Tunisia Replaces Suspended Cape Verde In World Cup Qualifiers by emiye(m): 5:06pm On Sep 12, 2013
DISGUSTING !, but if the football associations are irresponsible with their record keeping skills, shouldn't the ineligible player also scream out that he is not qualified undecided undecided.

Tunisia is favored o, with this kind of fate, i have a strong feeling they will also make it to the world cup

A country that can't keep records of their eligible players or differentiate between a yellow and red card as regards players suspensions have no business being in the world cup.

Dis Guy: no mention of the ineligible player or why he's not eligible

anyone know?

You must be very daft to have asked such Question.....can't you read and comprehend?

Back to the disqualification......
Fifa has to be firm in it decisions.....
Good for them.....

Good team though
