Please someone should clarify this,
Their is this GST (GST 104) was recently introduced. Should someone in 400L register it?
WHY SOME STUDENTS DONT GRADUATE

If you are among students who started NOUN in 2017. Its mandatory you register the newly introduced GST courses like GST204, to avoid delay in graduation. If its 1 course that is left for you to do and you decide to omit it, you would have to pay an extra 18000 naira compulsory extra semester fee just to register one course. That's how it works. So, learn from other students who have made such mistake.

No waiver for core courses like GST. The opportunity is now. Some students who ought to have seen thier names in the last graduation list, did not see thier names and could not graduate with others, because of omitted hidden courses. Now, they have paid 18000 naira compulsory portal fee just to register 1 course. And would have to wait till next year again to graduate formally. they complain of not seeing their name on the graduation list whenever it comes out.

That's why you hear some people accuse NOUN VC of not graduating students when they are due, some students even dump the programme totally and run to Lasu and university of Ibadan ODL. Therefore, run a check on your result every semester multiple times to be really sure.

If you have forgotten when you started, check your matric number

Nou15 is 2015, nou16 is 2016, Nou17 is 2017, nou18 is 2018 and so on. Backdated matric number is Nou14. They are excluded from new GST like 204.

Good evening NL,

I will appreciate if I could get my burden.

I was a PGD Mgt. student of NOUN 2013/2014 session, a programme which is expected to last for a year. I registered, completed and passed all the necessary courses required in the programme except the project which am not sure the supervisor finally submitted for me.

I was able to reach him this week and he assured to have submitted it but demanded that we arrange a physical meeting which I believe its a means to ripe off me some money.

I will appreciate a better advice on how apply for my full result and certificate. I have tried to login and reset password on NOUN website but all effort proved abortive.

Best Regards.
