A 300-level female undergraduate in one of the universities in Lagos yesterday breathed an air of freedom when she was rescued by security operatives in Ogun State after being held by her abductors for three years. In a scenario reminiscent of the Ariel Castro case in USA, where three women were held captive for several years, the victim got impregnated by her captors and now has a baby. Police operatives stormed the house belonging to the parents of one of the kidnappers and freed the victim. Details are still unfolding. Culled from Channels TV. |
