Maths: 22. Since 4 rep 36 bad oranges, 5 would rep 45 good oranges. This is so since U add the ratio and fractionalise what U got, U will get 5/9 and 4/9. Since 4/9 is known, to get 5/9 U should add 1/9 to 4/9 to get 5/9, where 1/9 = 9. 5/9 is 9+ 36( of 4/9)= 45. To get the ans, add 45 (of good oranges) to 36 (of bad oranges), U will get 81 (a).

Mopolchi: Maths: 25. To determine x, U have to consider components of each side of the ratio respectively: 2x=3 & (x+1)=2. To get x, 2 will crossover the equal sign and it will now be: x=3-2, so x is 1. When U put 1 in the other equation, it become (1+1)=2. The ans is 1 (b).

Maths 25. To determine x, If 2x : (x+1) =3:2
Dis can also b 2x/(x+1)=3/2
Cros multiplication
2x(2)=(x+1)3
4x=3x+3
Collecting like terms
4x-3x=3
X=3
D answer is 'd'

The answer is D. U are correct. When U replace x with 3, U will get 6:4, which you have to break down and you get 3:2. Am sorry for that mistake.

Mopolchi: The answer cannot be D because if U consider the answer of the question 3:2. The only number that replaces x that will ensure the answer is 1 and not 3. Take a look at it again.
