The usual suspects. This is the first time I've seen Gilbert Chagoury on the list. I suspect he's much richer than what's stated. Most of the people on the list are from extremely wealthy families (Dangote, Oppenheimer, Alakija, Sawaris, Chagoury). I remember Supreme Stitches. Where's Yuzedo? 2 Likes |

We all obviously know that they will not want their names appear cos of probe or they did not declare their asset but i still think some of our past leaders like Babangida, Atiku, James Ibori, Obasanjo, Abachas Family, etc are richer than some people on this list. Even some of their associates like Kola Aluko, Jide Omokore and Tunde Ayeni, to mention but few are very wealthy but not rated. 1 Like |

Sterling Towers: Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija the fourth richest person in Africa. She is quiet and unassuming unlike some loud mouth noveau riches thronging about with stolen quids lol, imagine getting an oil block by virtue of being friends with Ibb's wife, lol, yet NPDC has less than 120,000bbls of oil to call its own to boost our refinning capacity, Nigeria is a joke! 1 Like |

Re: Ventures Africa Richest People In Africa! by Olutola88(m): 5:05pm On Oct 07, 2013 |
Hmmm. All these people always remind me that I must be rich. Dangote started business at the age of 21 with a huge sum( 500K) I'm sure we all have an idea what 500K was then and he was able to manage the business well. Likewise Adenuga, he started in his mid twenties. What it simply means is that, if one wants to make it big in life, he has to start very early. These people have shown us that Rome wasn't built in a day( Dangote 1st started with trading of those products b4 he later went into production). Most Nigerian youths always believe they are too young to start something good even when they have all it takes. If you are not too young to spend money, then you are not too young to make money. Don't wait for the moment when your kids will ask you: “Daddy, where were you when your mates were making it” put to work 2day, what will bring tomorrow's dreams to reality. Finally, I need a good businessman or woman as mentor. You will also benefit @lst something from me cos I'm very resourceful + I'll be going 4 NYSC by November & I don't want to waste my service year. I want 2 invest one small amount ( 500K) but I'm not sure what good business to invest in during dat one year of NYSC. 08061338905, 2A334A4F, olutolakogbe@gmail.com Thanks, God bless you. |

Wow! Dangote & Adenuga's wealth has being bumped up to $20 bil & $8 bil respectively in just one or two years. Nigeria is indeed a paradise for the rich, at this rate, I foresee dangote being in the top 20 pretty soon. |
