It’s a beautiful morning in the village of Ibate, as farmers prepare to go for their morning duties at the farm, women with baskets preparing to leave for the market. Outside in the open are the children- some in their khakis, panties and others playing naked in the dirt. Must Read: How To Be A Successful Businessman Or Woman At sunrise, just right before mid-day came the scuttle of a wild wind accompanied by thunder and lightening. The roaring of the wind puts in the picture how angry the wind was. From left to right, up and down tossing everything in its path. The deep-blue sky turned dark and packed with fierce rumbling. Frightfully, people seeing this “me helm” took to their heels running to and fro. Children from their playing spot running for shelter, mothers calling out to their far-off children, others trying to get their drying cloths off the hangers, and the men trying to put their house and family in order. Perhaps, the storm was just passing by, but why did it rob us off some of our belongings? Alas! Some of those stolen properties were all we’ve got. Who knows if we’ll ever recover from this disaster, who knows if the storm will someday return? This is a question our encounter with the raging storm has left on our minds.
