Congrats on your cgpa.

1. You need to check what each school has to offer, then decide (personally) which one suits you best. You can start from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/participants.asp & narrow it down to schools with your choice of program.

2. The admission process could actually be a job on its own but not difficult. I think you check the requirements of the school and follow their instructions to the letter.

3. Like oga onye oma said, most of the departments could actually be very competitive, but impossible is nothing with God on your side.

4. I just googled that but couldn't come up with a definitive answer, sorry.

5. Yes, I suppose.

6. You could use any of our 9ja debit cards; they work.

Thanks. Abeg oga onye oma will help you with more info as he said.

Cheers.
damochewinner: Please I need some peeps in here to help me with some clarifications:

3. what about scholarship positions, teaching or research assitanship?

5. is it possible to legalize after someones phd?
6. what method of payment is advisable to settle ones application fee since I don't have a credit card?

Thanks for the insight bro.
I am spreading my net hope the bait would be good enough.
I am looking at Master of Environmental Toxicology at SFU... Well, they wrote me yesterday that it is very competitive, which ofcourse is a cliche from canadian Universities. So i am not too bothered by that - Even newfoundland said same.
However, the beautiful struggle continues.

So how are you loving your current status? Have you travelled already?

Some guys can be deceptive, this guy doesn't want other guys to come and enjoy the beauty and tranquility in Newfoundland.
Guys, Newfoundland is the place to be: cheap accomodation, cheapest tuition in whole of Canada, plenty of sea food, cold refreshing weather, oil rich region, nice people( most amazing ), party peole(downtown)...its countless.
Welcome to Newfoundland! Don't mind Dommakaveli...people like tupac always want a place like L.A.

Goodmorning bro,

To add to what Smile13 already said:

1) Any school that u can easliy secure admission into (considering ur CGPA) among the 18 universities.

2) Going for Masters of Engineering (M.Eng) cos getting admission into Research Based Masters (M.A.Sc) is really a task on its own as you have to contact every professor you can think of in your research interest for supervising.

3) If you really wanna get a scholarship, then u have to revisit your question 2 and zero your mind towards a stress-free admission process cos I must tell u @ dis point that getting admitted into M.A.Sc is not beans (You must work for it via persistence and devising of unique approach coupled with a powerful SOP bearing in mind that other applicants are also applying from all over the world.

4) Well, all I can say about this is that none of the provinces i know that have low living costs are offering Chemical Engineering @ d Masters level (Research still ongoing abt this shaa cos am also interested)

5) You can even legalize (obtain PR i assume you're referring) before you round up your Ph.D

6) The 2 options I'm sure about are Zenith Bank and First Bank (Tested and Certified Okay by me and some other members of the house)

However, some schools give provision to convert to Research-Based Masters from Course-Based once you're already in the system.
Based on the above, I advise you also put a course-based Masters in your agenda.

I wish you all the best.
