shakol91: Thanks. I don't like teaching so I don't want to continue with Masters in Education, that's why I need to change to M.scwhat's your cgpa? And are you ready to write standardized test? |

Joenice: Firstly, your interview was okay but the VO denied based on inconsistency in your application, documents and response. The same with your second interview, I already highlighted all. What will you do after your studies? Saying firstly, you will come back home, is false impression, the VOs will not believe you, even if you surely plan to return home. I will tell you how to respond to this kind of question later. Thanks bro. I have not yet gone for my 2nd interview, this just the preparation.. I will be expecting you suggesstion |

domex007: Hello house. Bro I'll advise you'll remove the statement "compared to Nigerian universities where strike, poor learning environment and lack of professional lectures afftect education system" You might not even have the time to explain that self, apart from that you can even go to the UK.. I think the statement is better without that.. 2 Likes |

shakol91: Junto,slimmy05,Graviton,Amerifa,joenice,stewee and the rest please explain this now. Mind the words in quote. You can as well explain from your area of study not necessarily with Accounting Education, but just want to know maybe Certificate In Education goes with M.sc outside Nigeria or undergraduate Degree in Education only goes with Masters in Education outside Nigeria If you studied Accounting Edu, you can get admitted into Masters in Accounting. Be prepared to tell the VO a good reason why you wish to deviate from Edu. |

@adegbebi, you have a chance simply because you've been to the US and of having many years work experience. It's been over 5 years. But I am not advising anyone here to go to the embassy with community college admission. ![]() |

adegbebi: Hello house. I have been here for a while reading through the posts and have been majorly impressed with every one to be honest. Pls do not go near the embassy with this your profile. My advice is that you return to USA with your B2 visa and convert it to F1 over there. The international students office in your school will assist you. Gather more info from the link below. https://iss.washington.edu/procedures/change-status/b-1-b-2-to-f-1 |

But I am not advising anyone here to go to the embassy with community college admission. No chance at all. He already has Bsc, wife and kids. A community college is definitely a red flag. A masters degree would be the best shot. |

Hi guys, Confused about a little issue here Probably the vo ask a ? Like this what do u intend doing postgraduate or what are ur plans after ur undergraduate degree. And I must let them know am coming back here to nigeria but I want to further my education as a medical student united states but now am applying as a chemistry student in united states what do u think I can do or say to the vo? |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by Graviton2(m): 4:54pm On Jul 08, 2014 |
Mr. Adegbebi, To be frank, there are things wrong with your case. 1. You have already made your mark at the embassy as a potential immigrant. You applied for migration, right? Your daughter was born in the States too. These scream: Potential Immigrant — Just saying. 2. You are applying to a community college. Most high school graduates applying for a visa with a CC I-20 don't often get it, they find it extremely difficult...your age, status and Bsc qualification only makes applying for a F1 visa with CC even more difficult and utterly illogical ![]() 3. The course you are applying for holds no relation to your Bsc course and I seriously doubt you actually have any intention of going for your studies. Anyway these are just a few of the things wrong with your profile. Goodluck to you though. |

Graviton2: Mr. Adegbebi, Well outlined. They will only be more lenient with his case if he is applying while in the states. I just don't see any way out if he applies from here. Dem fit even revoke the B2 visa. |

slimmy05: wrong advice. Stay back apply for masters spring 2015. Write gre, dont give vo any chance. He never told you he wanted masters. Do you need a native doctor to tell you this person doesn't want to go to school but wants something to keep him in the states? He may deny this. Wetin concern me? juntod: This is true. I perceived same but it is not our place to decide for him. We have given him advice as regards his case, I believe if he really wants to study he will consider a masters degree. Anyway, the ball is totally in his court. |

I doubt if his status would be converted to F1. Was so surprised it was mentioned here. Look, even if he wants to school at Harvard or MIT, he must return to his home country for a change of visa, unless he's getting married with an American citizen and by so doing, the applicant must be a female. |
