I'm starting this thread for Spectranet subscribers who have been ripped of one way or the other to vent, and also to do something about it.

I have just been cheated of 12 days due to their upgrade programme, I never got an email even though they claim they sent me one. This notwithstanding, the moment you're taken offline, you're no longer being supplied with services, so why, why should you have to lose those days? Out of those 12 days, it took 6 days for them to activate my new device. When I called them, they basically said "sorry bros no show go renew"!

I recall a few months ago when their base station was down for 2 weeks, I was given back like 3 days or something, and I know lots of people who have had this experience, this has to stop. The likes of Airtel, MTN and Etisalat would never dare do stuff like this because they have a lot more to lose.

After I Finish this post, I'm off to lodge a complaint online with the Consumer Protection Council. For those of us who feel the same way, kindly email cpcnigeria@yahoo.co.uk or cpc.lagos@yahoo.co.uk

Then I'm going to write a letter to NCC, the last time I did that, NCC responded and the MD of the company sent people to come and beg, needless to say the problem was rectified pronto!, then I'm going to start an online petition.

For those of us thinking that there's no point, think about the millions of Naira they're earning from supplying nothing. Think about it, they pay for bandwidth and resell to us, so if they're not selling for 2 weeks and you have paid them already, you have dashed them your money. Its already bad enough that they tell you lies like 2mbps burstable downland speed and your download speed never and I mean never passes 100Kbps that's if you're lucky, average is always dial-up speed at 32kbps.

Most people on their so called 4G are getting like 10kbps, come on this is ridiculous! SPECTRANET, THIS CHEATING HAS TO STOP

Just to let you know, justice has prevailed! After I made a whole lot of noise and sent emails to CPC, twitted NCC, CPC took it up and Spectranet refunded me kia kia!
