The governments of Lagos and Ogun States have made a N3.5million donation to help ailing Yoruba actor Kayode Odumosu popularly called Pa Kasumu.

In a telephone conversation today, Pa Kasumu’s son, Tunde Odumosu told Nigerian Entertainment Today that Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State finally made his donation to Pa Kasumu after footing the bills of his initial medical check up three weeks ago.

‘We got a call on Friday (October 25, 2013) to come to the Lagos State Secretariat in Alausa. When we got there, we were presented with a cheque of N1.5million on behalf of the State Government’, Odumosu said.

The following day, Saturday, October 26, 2013 the representatives of the Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosu visited Pa Kasumu’s residence in Mushin and also made a donation of N2million.
