I hold nothing against private institutions coming together for similar events or necessary activities, but not when such events arefunded with the limited public funds.
BTW, you were swift to point out my post reeks of hatred; but i wonder why u had to state you do not attend a private univeristy in ur mischief and bias even when u aren't confronted with such a question.

Dude ur initial thread was actually packed with HATRED. BTW common mans child can't get admission 2 fed univ dese days. Dey either go 2 poly's or college of education. So if u in a univ like unilag, UI, ife, UNN, u R not a common mans child. D decay in fedral univsity was partly caused by govt & d lecturers demselves. All d schl fees & registratn forms fees, oda miscellanous levies, etc wat do d schls do wit dem? Do u knw dat evry commercial structure in Govt uni's pay rent 2 d schl admin? In unilag der are more dan 10,000 student payin df schl feees, rangin 4rm DLA, to PGD etc, multipurpose halls we're dey charge up to 500k 4 any event? @ evry car park, u pay 50 to 100 bucks. Infact d greed is on both lecturers & govt. Govt needs 2 review d initial terms of agreement make changes dat will be beneficial 2 both parties.

triploc: my Bowen Uni peeps!!!! go show them what we made of, we dey always thrash others for football in previous editions, i hope una still good and for basket ball covenant uni always on fire, but i trust my fellaz and fellixes, we capable. I go try show from lagos to cheer up my almamater.

Considering their negative stance to Reasonable Freedom and Concept of sociality on campus, one would begin taking random imaginations on their independence especially the Strict Christian ones.
Worse is now soliciting for the Government's support knowing how problems between the latter and ASUU, NASU etc evolved over the past years and the issues of structural decay in public institutions and other misfits.
All i see is a mischeivous program trying to gain sympathy, public attention and waste of funds meant for the common man's child.
