Happening gradually right here in Abuja

Wow, I have sighted the partly covered sun. It looks like a partly eaten apple. You will see it better when little cloud dims the brightness of the sun. You won't see it when the sky is cloudless cos the sun would be too bright then. By the way. I'm reporting from Ajah, Lagos.

Since technology has failed them, I am reporting using my traditional eye and a bucket of water that supersede every technology at the moment...

The moon is nowhere found close to the sun else it will be assumed it has begun is some other states. There will be no eclipse today. Everybody should go home or wherever.

I forget to add that the previous eclipse were made in obodo oyibo(predicted by onye ocha), this one is local made.

Cold blooded: its exactly 12:39 UTC here in Ikeja Lagos, d wind speed is at 7knots, visibility is high above 6000metres, partialy cloudy. It is a medium cloud(stratus). But I no see any eclipse o. But if I look thru ma kitchen window e go dark small, if I luk thru d door e go bright wella. I'm confused

It is happening here in Ile-iFe. Best watch to see it, pour water in any plastic bucket and try to locate the sun inside the water. When you must av seen the sun, you would notice that its not 100% round...the remaining side is the shadow of the moon on the sun

ebuetor: its reported that a total eclipse will occur only at the atlantic ocean, wer everywer will become totally dark. But on land everyone will experience partial darkness. So if you want to see to totallity of darkness, it will occur at the centre of the atlantic ocean. If you wish to go i have a canoe, ride fee is just 5000 naira 10 people go, 10 people may come back.
