excell12go: I'm a typical Yoruba dude bt I pray dez APC(Amalgamation of Politiical Criminals) don't have their way. They are worse than both PDP and APGA summed. Ngige is a good man. But he got it all wrong when he formed an alliance with the wrong people.
SORRY IS LIKE YOU ARE A FOOL. WE ARE NOT VOTEING PARTY BOUT NGIGE OUR BROTHER WE DONT VOTE PARTY AS YOU THINK. TELL ME THE BEST PARTY IN NIGERIA AND WHO IS THERE BOSS? CFCfan: The turnout may be affected by the fact that Nigeria's match starts at 4pm. Some folks in very long queues may be impatient to wait for their turn, and instead dash off to watch the game.
True talk, however no serious minded folk will do such...

Reporting from Ekwusigo LG,accreditation in most pooling booths are gradually coming to an end. The turn out of the voters large and unprecedented in some wards. they are military checkpoints @ strategic places and police vans moving around. everywhere is peaceful and people are walking around and standing on line without rancour. The president generals of the four towns in the LG have passed the msg for onward transmission to our people on where to vote...from feeders on ground it is going to be a walkover for APGA with PDP probably coming a distant second

Anybody who thinks Ngige will win today needs a serious reality check. All the odds ate against him and his party.

1) The APC has been painted as Islamic cum Yoruba party, laced with hatred for ndigbo. A lot of neutrals(people without political affiliation) have this mindset and wouldn't go near any party that is portrayed as anti-Igbo

2) Obi has been very loyal to the president, and Goodluck Jonathan is known to reward his loyalists, take the case of Miniko as a reference point.

3) GEJ's 2015 ambition will be more secured with APGA in power in Anambra, APGA can muster more votes for him than the divided PDP in Amabra.

3) Ifeanyi is business man. And money don't usually win elections. You need grassroot political structure, and neither him nor LP has what it takes to beat the sharks.

Aussie: From all indications, Anambra people have decided not to vote on merit but to vote based on tribe and religion. So be it for you guys. If only you guys give a good reason why u want to vote apga and not apc, it wuld have been okay. But u call apga ibo party and ojukwu legacy while you call apc yoruba and islamic party. You guys have a long way to go and we, indeed as a country, still have a long journey. Congrats to whoever wins.
Why should any sane man vote for Tinubu and Boko haram party

This is what I call childish chatter.
. It's because of guys like you that other nigerians generalise and conclude that igbos are illiterates... I dont think so, I've seen some really smart ones myself, but you aint in that class.. How Can you pple be using application status as a literacy index? Totally absurd! I think it's the market closure that's affecting you, get a monopoly board and do business with your family.. I think that should help

Pls I'll like to Admins/super-mods to control this robot called antispambot today, because there was a LG Election result that was updated on Nairaland by a member, and immediately the update antispambot deleted the thread.

So if there is any way the Mod can make the antispambot not to be active on this thread, I beseech you to do that because people will soon be updating the results in their polling unit.

THANKS
