no the strike should end cos no matter how ASUU strike their demands won't ever be met.

FG can't meet all their demands,,its politics,,,if they fulfill all ASUU's demands other associations like SSANU,NASU and the rest will come up with their own demands which doesn't sound good

The National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) just ended in Kano with the leadership of the union keeping the outcome to themselves.
Daily Trust reports that the meeting, which was principally convened to ratify the resolutions of the local branches of the union on the offer of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on the controversial ASUU/ FG's agreement, ended successfully.
It was gathered that at the end of the meeting, which was held in a secret location in Kano from 10.am to around 9.pm on Friday night, the leadership of the union took a position on the strike. SOURCE: dailytrust newspaper
