Please, please and please, dey lag jejely..forget the accommodation provided in abj, its expensive to survive but....(of course there ia always a but) if you have/ will have time for extra runs, u could consider abj...anything below 150-200k with no time for extra runs is manageable..
Just an opinion of a hustler..

UcLloyd: The only problem one tend to have in Abuja is high cost of accommodation and is already solved. Since ur a lagosian, u can live anywhere in Abuja. My take, go for the Abuja offer. Congratz!

Abeg, vacancy still dey for the Abuja own? Make I apply

U like beta thing. Though 70k is not soo wonderful

Go for the abuja job. Better pay and telecoms industry is more secured and far better than the insurance coys. You would grow in terms of career path for the telecom job.

Also accomodation has been sorted which will definately reduce your cost, abuja transportation is very cheap, you can enter taxi for as low as 300 naira I mean cool ride,, u wan try dat 1 for lagos? good road networks, condusive environment and more of constant electricity and lesser traffic.

Goodluck

Am not "forming". Take note that I am not working at the moment (living on allowance from parent). I said "Lord have mercy" because I wonder how a grown-up man would survive on that meagre amount.

Whao!! Hold up!!! Is it N55/70k per week or per month? OMG Nigeria is fu*ked from all sides. How does a guy who what's to progress & achieve a lot in his life, do that with a meagre 70k/month?

Ask your govt why minimum wage is N18k. Going by the govt's standard, he's earning x3 or x4 the min wage

Abuja before Lagos anytime and everytime. I know both cities well, and I live in both cities at the same time (believe it or not). I''d prefer N10k in Abuja sef than N70k in Lagos.

If you're a go-getting 'gee', and you have big dreams, then Abuja is the place to be, regardless of how much you earn. Lagos is a noisy and worthless slum compared to Abuja.

Question should be: How many Nigerian WILL have insurance policies? What is the expected growth of this industry in Nigeria? Don't think today, think tomorrow.

I doubt if you've ever been to abuja because people with lesser salaries there still live fine and the only expensive thing, accommodation, has been taken care of.

does the job in Lagos come with accommodation? Does the job in Abuja come with a car? What is the distance from the house to the office in Abuja? Will there be available water or you'll have to buy water? Bros chill before rushing cuz of the input of a few. Transport and feeding are high in Abuja, you could exhaust 70k in 2 weeks sans rent here.

Well my dear KID, ur doubts are unfounded as i am currently residing in abuja and have been for almost seven years...i have lived in maitama, wuse 2, sauka (airport road) and lugbe as a corper earning peanuts and as a full time employee and still stand by my point which is a salary of 70k does nothing and when i mean nothing, i mean nothing...u need to work, earn money
and survive on same before you air opinions here.
I know quite a number of people who earn double of the OP's proposed salary who are willing to run out of the FCT at the slightest chance.
OP...its still your call, however reason am well..no be only accommodation expensive for abuja, everything is!
