sorry dude!! i don't fall for threat, like some of your political leaders will do. what more can one ever regret than what the PDP government has turned Nigeria into? what more? Nigerians regret ever voting in a man that walks bare footed while in primary school for the sake of Education. Nigerians regret voting in a man that jettisoned the commonwealth meeting for Anambara's Governorship Campaign Nigerians regret, voting in a man that publicly declared that there is boko Haram in his cabinet, yet nothing has been done about it. Nigerians regret, voting in a man whose wife claims she's a lazarus that died and resurrected just because she has a mandate to fulfill... The list is endless. I am not the type that insults on Nairaland, and i sincerely apologize for that unscrupulous statement i have made, Until you stop being one before my aforesaid apologies becomes active, else....smh... AM SORRY |

osaxx: I don't know about the other things you said you may be right. But you are definitely wrong about the national conference. It will be a sure way of dis uniting the country further. Some say it will be a talk shop. I can assure you that it will be much worse. It will be a forum for hurling insults across the divides. We shall all come out worse if our intention was genuinely strengthening the country. But I still welcome it and I welcome the outcome as well - because I'm just fed up. |

osaxx: The truth is that PDP depends on governors to rig election for them. Jonathan has just now lost five governors. I wonder when this truth will sink in. |

God may touch the judiciary and they can gain some conscience and do their work right, the civil society - I am not sure they are working in tandem with the impunity iwe see in Jonas government. The police will always be with him as long as their bosses get the crumbs from the perpetual plundering of the treasury. The soldiers- well we know what they can do if they feel the pressure but we don't hope for that and Jona himself doesn't want to anger them. But life can't continue like that for such a talented and gifted but pauperized country. |

Fhemmmy: Dont be discouraged, in the presence of multitudes all those dont count. Look at states where power changed hands, the people made it happen despite intimidation. 2015 wont be an exception. |
Re: G7 Governors Joins APC by davseun2ta(m): 9:21am On Nov 28, 2013 |
osaxx: It is expedient i make somethings clear to you, perhaps you are oblivious about it. Nigeria is referred to as a Federal State, thats why we have a FG. We only practicalise federalism by name and not by deeds. The challenges Nigeria is saddled with today such as security, power, transportation, employement et al, is as a result of the lies we keep on telling ourselves that we are a federal state, when in the actual sense we are not. what is Federalism? The term "federalism" is also used to describe a system of government in which sovereignty is constitutionally divided between a central governing authority and constituent political units (such as states or provinces). Federalism is a system based upon democratic rules and institutions in which the power to govern is shared between national and provincial/state governments, creating what is often called a federation. federalism Political system that allows states united under a central government to maintain a measure of independence if we are to go by the definations above, you would agree with me, that something is wrong somewhere. Nothing works with the FG, take for instance NITEL, AJAKUTA STEEL, NIPOST, RAILWAY TRANSPORT, POWER, AGRICULTURE, SURE-P, now EDUCATION!!! amongst many others what about agencies as set-up by the FG...NDDC, EFCC, ICPC, SON, NAFDAC et al. Bro. the list is endless. If something must be done, Nigeria Must be a true Federalism state(as defined above) where each state will have its own police like the NYPD, FBI, SWAT in the U.S.A, where each state will manage its resources etc... |
