there is, some didnt get the notification, just goto Blackberry World then click My World goto Blackberry Messenger, click it and you will see upgrade

I just updated mine. It does look like whatsapp for real. Bbm channel saying request unsuccessful. It was also hanging my fone. Fone was loading every 3secs. Had to reboot.

The update is for pole using OS 10. A colleague at work installed and I was opportuned to play with it. Trust me it is very top notch
