It means everything!

Some years ago, during my final year in the uni, a guest speaker gave a talk on marriage to us final year students. He told us then that the most important thing a woman needs in marriage is 'security', while for the man, it is 'respect'. I didn't quite grasp it then, but now I understand better. I recently called it off with one who hasn't been respectful enough!
Respect is the most important thing I (and indeed every man) needs from a woman. Ignore it at your own peril!
