I mean how could someone forget TDK triology, when during one of its premiers a sick dude (dressed like the Joker) walked into the cinema and opened fire on the people killing some, the dude even told the cops he has more fire power at home, which turned out to be true.
His sick logic was there cant be a Batman without a Joker in the Premiers.

I guess TDK is unforgettable in more ways than one.

With so many crazies running around in America, plus an average amerian obsession with guns, I'm not sure blaming TDK is the right approach here. In a society whereby anyone could buy a glock off the street, for a couple of bucks, things like that are bound to happen sooner or later. School, mall, and club shootings have become part of everyday life across the country. Parents are afraid to send their kids to public schools, Folks are reluctant to mall shop, or go clubbing at popular hotspots. It boils down to the gun culture of America, and the government inability to do something about it.

Bottom line, TDK is not to blame here. The murderous idiot just wanted to kill people, period. And for the fact that he used a harmless Pg-13 superhero movie as an excuse, should give you an insight into the ludicrousity of his delusional mind. People like that will always find an excuse to perpetuate their vile fantasies.

Disney is trying too hard with Disney+, they churned out about 1000 shows which absolutely have to bane for continuity. For a Market already dominated by Netflix and the likes, Disney+ should/still could focus on quality rather than quantity.

I already called the guy "sick" in my initial post, he claims there can be no Batman without a Joker. Motherfucker even had his apartment bobby trapped cos he was expecting the cops, and my word the guns they recovered from his apartment.
Sick people like this need an excuse to carry out their sadistic plans and he used the Batman narrative as outlet.

Even before that there was a general survey about Batman the week before the Premier, there was a debate if its indeed possible to have a Batman in real life,
thinking about it now there was really a big buzz about Batman at that time, it was on CNN.

Let's wait till we see the quality of Disney+ shows before we can air our thoughts. Even Netflix are overpopulating their catalogue with quantity nowadays. Since more content equals more subscribers, it's a smart business strategy when you think about it.

Netflix have slated 51 originals for September debut, and I guarantee you, only a tiny percentage will be worth their salt in gold. Yet, the influx of these new originals will gain Netflix more subscribers. More subscribers, more money.

I think what DCEU ought to do to become relevant again is to bring the dark and gritty content of the comics to the screen without watering anything down. The darker, the better. They should stop pandering to the wider audience like Marvel, and start doing their own thing. They should stay true to the grim and bleak world of DC universe.

For the fact that Joker has decided to go this way is a testament that DCEU have started to think creatively. It's honestly the only way they can step away from MCU's shadow.

Zack Synder was working his way to bring the dark and gritty, but fans, WB and DC won't let my man Zack tell his story not helped by the loss of his daughter too. Giving Zack freedom and a clear path and character development in collabo with creative assistance from the likes of C.Nolan, DCEU will be near or even on par with MCEU. But no DCEU wants to please fans and do mushy tear drop superhero movies Marvel do (This is good too tho)...I for one would have love a scenerio where if I want "an emotional superhero movie" I go for MCEU, if I want Dark and Grit I go for DCEU.
