My second time of watching it, and it still thrilled. Reservoir Dogs on steroids. Pacing is decent, story is interesting, plenty of suspense, great atmosphere, and beautiful music.

The film was imbecilic AF. As much as I tried to shut off my brain in other to force myself to enjoy it, I simply couldn't. I didn't mind the plot holes, cuz they are a given, going by the fact that plot holes are commonplace with OTT action films like this, but man oh man, the plot integrity was a mess. It's absurdity ruined whatever enjoyment I was hoping to glean from the film.

For starters, the use of 21st century techs like Laptops, hard drive and what-have-you in a 20th century setting was highly suspect. Don't even get me started on the questionable time shifts that destroyed whatever pretense of a rhythm the film had going for it. To cap off the trainwreck, action scenes were a tad video gamey on closer look.

I would wager your left arm that the french fraud, Luc Besson, threw a script together, without bothering to do a basic research on the technicalities, or spend money to polish the VFX, cuz he knew sheeples like you will gobble up anything that has fancy fight scenes. The cheap bastard.

Bottom line, the film was a dumpster fire. If not for the cool music and, action scenes, I would have rated it 4. If I were you, I'd be grateful that my generous nature got the better of me, young padawan.
