Although this is shade thrown at me, I cant but marvel at how deeply poetic it is.

Sounds like the description of a villain in a classic work of literature.

Yes, he has made his 'peace', but I have known him on this forum for about 8 years and peace is not in his dictionary. I am for peace, but he is for war. The last time I made the mistake of accepting his olive branch on this thread, he attacked me again in less than a week. Invictus (2009)....8/10
Genre: Biography, Drama, History


Hats off to Clint Eastwood for this astonishing & inspiring biopic, his directorial craft ages like fine wine, which simply gets better with each passing by.

Idris elba did do a very good job in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom but Morgan Freeman became Mandela here, he completely immersed himself so much into the role to the hilt. Matt Damon also delivered a noteworthy performance.

The predictability of the flick, which may have seemed a shortcoming was adequately compensated with its strong themes of determination, unity & forgiveness.

It's was truly one heck of a good motion picture, hats off once again, to Clint Eastwood.

Very nice movie, funny and entertaining...
The English are very good actors combined with their accent...
I love Helen Mirren like kilode and she is superb in this as usual....
