Michael who was wandering around the room entered and quickly alerted his parents about how she was feeling. She was quickly rushed to the hospital that night. On their way to the hospital, she never forgot to drop the bug in her pocket inside the car there undiscovered.



Dapo noticed something was going wrong and quickly called Lanre to explain to him, they didn't know how to go about it until Dapo discovered where the bug was, on his laptop and traced them to the hospital. She was quickly attended to by the Doctor.



¤THE FOLLOWING DAY¤


She was finally fine, Dapo and Lanre slept in the hospital that night while Michael and his father went home to sleep. They rushed there the following day to know about her health and met Dapo and Lanre there. They've payed for bills and were about leaving then when the father and son arrived.


She ignored them and entered into Lanre's car while they left the hospital. Olawale was angry and was suspecting. He entered the car with his son and didn't bother to enter the hospital any longer.


"It must be that woman that poisoned me."


"Which woman? His wife?" Dapo quickly asked.


"Yes. I've dropped the bugs in his car and his room."


"Why are you suspecting her?"



"She doesn't like me at all."


"Don't worry, I won't go there now with my guys. Something tells me he's the murderer of you parents." Dapo uttered.


"I'm no longer doubting it. He should be, he doesn't look like a clean-handed man."


"Don't worry, by the time the bug starts its work, you'll know." He smiled.


"Thanks sir." She smiled back, feeling better.


"Hope none of your things is there?" Lanre asked.


"My handbag is there. I just have to get it, once I get it, I'll leave there." She replied.


"That's better than someone killing you." Dapo said.


"So, let's go to my place first, so that you can rest a little then go for your bag." He uttered.


"No problem."

Folawe turned her deaf ear to all the pleadings from Olawale and his son. She left their house angrily and hurried to Lanre's place to drop her bag. She left the place immediately and rushed to Tayo's place to pack her things and explained the issue to him, and everything was settled amicably.



She then left and was happy everything was fine, at last. She met Lanre and his sister at home, arguing about a movie when she entered. Evelyn stood up immediately and ushered her inside to show her where she'd stay. "I don't want you to sleep in a seperate room, so, we are sleeping together in my room" she smiled.


"That's nothing. Let me just drop everything and let's go to the kitchen to cook for the big brother." They both laughed.



They were on their way to the kitchen when her mind struck Mr Chucks. "Who knows if the man has HIV?" She thought and prayed within her.


Lanre was all alone in the living room, worried on where the two could be. Not quite long after then, Dapo arrived and parked his car outside the gate. He came with his investigating equipment. "Mr man, I'm here now oh." He uttered as he entered into the house, after Lanre opened the door for him.


"You this man, wetin you dey carry for hand like this? You no get job oh." They both laughed.


"I came because of the investigation. I want to drop a device for her so that she'll be listening to one of the two bugs." He uttered and took his seat.


"That's not a problem. In fact, she's here now."


"Then get her for me. Let me give her this stuff, so she'll put in her phone and use ear phone always. Give her my phone number so that she'll call me once there's anything."


"Man, talk slowly. I don't even know where she is, both Evelyn and herself."


"Go and search now. You don't have nose right? They should be in the kitchen."


"Na you sabi." He stood up and left for the kitchen.


He got Folawe and she was given the materials needed to ease the investigations. "Wait Dapo, what if this man isn't the one?"


"You should know I'm not like you, I use my brain before I assume." He laughed.


"Right from time, I've always known you have problems. I never knew they are still there, despite the prayers." He laughed back.


"Thanks sir." Folawe smiled.


"This girl is beautiful sha. See her white teeth, as if they can be mine right now. She has a nice structure, beautiful and okay." He stared at her as he smiled.


"Dapo... She's greeting you now. Why are you staring at her now." Lanre shouted.


"What? Staring at who. You are welcome jere Fola, you may go. Let me thrash this boy." He smiled.


Folawe left for the kitchen back. "Oh boy, why you dey look her that way, she no be yours oh." Lanre uttered.



"Mine? I don't mind her." He smiled.


"You sick? You want iya ibeji to kill her?" They both laughed.


"Why do you think I've been putting all mu nerves in this case? Na because of her now."



"Baba, remove your nerves then. I'll handle the remaining."


"I fit arrest you if you no keep shut." They both laughed.


"This is serious, olopa(police)" they both laughed.


"But wait, do you have interest in her?"

Olawale was on his way to the office when he started recalling he pasts. He thought of his good friend and his wife that died, he caused their death. The death of Folawe's brother was caused by him also, the reason behind him sparing Folawe was to let her marry his son so that all the properties of her father will totally become his own.



"This girl is now fucking up, had I known I would have killed her. I just have to call shadow, he will still be the one to execute this project, God knows where she is now. They'll soon resume sha, she is going to know that khaki no be leather."



Folawe was listening to everything he was talking about. "How I wish this Mr Dapo is here to listen to him." She thought and quickly picked her phone to make the urgent call.


She informed Dapo about all what she heard. Lanre had gone to work then while Evelyn and Folawe were the ones at home.


Dapo assured her not to panic. He'd hear everything he said when the time comes, everything was been recorded as Folawe listened.

Olawale contacted Shadow and his guys to get him Folawe as soon as possible, they should search everywhere for her within three weeks. Fidelity University was to resume some weeks after. They've planned they'd attack her once she resumes back to school.

It was on a Sunday afternoon, Dapo arrived for some analysis with Folawe. They both sat at the dining with Lanre and listened to all Olawale's utterances. "I want to catch him in the act." Dapo uttered.


"Hey man, this act you are talking about now could be dangerous. What if he attacks Folawe and something happen" lanre asked anxiously.


"Nothing can happen. The stuff in her bag will be used to trace her to anywhere taken to. We'll rescue her and capture the guys in question, then his secrets will be unveiled." He replied.


"That's cool. There's no doubt about it now, he killed my parents. But why?" She wondered.


"You don't know people right? I'll make sure I get him, I've always known he'd be the one!" He hit the table.


"Man, you scared me. God help you sha, but I pray this method you wanna use, won't put you into trouble." Lanre uttered.


"Man, you too no be police. Na me get the wisdom, go sleep jere." They laughed.


"Okay oh." He shook his head smiling.


"I'm leaving now." Dapo stood up while they followed him to his car till he left.

"Something? Alright." She smiled.

"But that's bad. You shouldn't go and worship God because you just want to do something."


"But who is this God! Don't be like this!" She exclaimed.



"Haha.. You are getting funnier to me. There's no God?"



"Does it look like there is?" She stared at him.



"There's God now, there's God." He emphasized.



"So if he really exists, where was he when my parents were killed? Where was he when Grandma and our house got burnt? Where was he when everything bad befell me? Who even knows the next one coming." She uttered angrily.



Lanre kept quiet.

Folawe left Lanre place for Tayo, so she could see Pemisire and if possible record some of her works. She got there and met Tayo well dressed, ready to set out for his place of work. Pemisire and her father were just taking bread and tea when she arrived.



On seeing her, Pemisire ran towards her and she happily carried her. "Good day sir." She smiled as she sat.


"SIR."Tayo repeated.


She laughed. "I've told you I can't do without it." She replied.


"No problem. So how's everything?"


"Good. I've known the person who killed my parents oh."


"What? Your parents? How?"


"I met a smart and intelligent police officer who's helping me investigate the issue. Its my dad's best friend, Mr Olawale.. Which Mr? Olawale rather." She smiled.


"You don't mean it. Your father's best friend?"


"Yes." She sighed.


"People aren't worthy of trust again. Why is he so wicked? Some people are too wicked for me to like." He uttered.


"I was more than surprised when I heard it." She smiled briefly. "Never knew it could be that man."


"Its normal. We should always put our trust in God." He shook his head pitifully.
