I use d izap sleekacess card wich is gud too tho d sierra ac 597 came out afta it. I can sell mine 2 u if u stil insist on using d sleekacess( den u wont hv 2 go tru d hassles of utility bill, waitin 4 activatn etc) tho i'd stil recomend d siera card sha

hmmm, but i wont be suprised at the end of the day if they still end up linking to nitel sat3 cable as backbone, so we are still back to square 1. until nitel gets their acts together or glo finishes its own. the major problem we are having with most isps now is nitel wahala. they all go tru nitel

its really frustrating avg speeds are b/w 20kbps and 50kbps with occassionall peaks of 73kbps
i know b4 it use to be at least 200kbps so i dot know weda its only in my area(woji} dis is happening

Starcomms never activate me since Yesterday, it's past 24hrs already.

friday is never really a good time to pay your subscription except 1.it is done early2.it is paid at a GT bank with frequent traffic or 3.it is paid at their customer service points.this is because the internet activation centre closes @4pm prompt.it is possible your payment details were not posted on time so bear with them till monday.

i generally renew on weekends and unless i go to one of their offices (which i did this weekend)
i take it for granted that i won't be able to browse till monday or tuesday

@lynx. you de vex for starcomms? i will still continue to manage. i spend a lot time on the internet at home. in my hood, starcomms is your best bet. mtn 3G though very unreliable can daze you with speed sometimes, has very poor or no coverage in my house. so men i am sticking with starcomms.

finally got my evdo speeds back 2day (dont know y dey misteriously disapeared} after weeks of "suffering" with the 1x service
oh yeah, i just saw it hit 1.5mbps
i'm gonna make up for lost time

dey must have upgraded dier system
life's' guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud

now i'm downloading stuff i don't even need!!!
dats how- good it is

@lynx. Na true o! Na hayprof alone de swallow 90% of Starcomms bandwidth.

Starcomms sucks in the daytime. Its only good at night due to less congestion on their low bandwidth allocations.
But to me, Starcomms is the most consistent, but not the best, mobile internet broadband provider in Nigeria.
