Hello nairalanders, i have been battling with avascular necrosis for 2yrs and it has affect both my hip bone and my range of movement is limited, this is as a result of sickle cell anemia, the only medical solution to this is hip replacement which would be done every eight to ten years throughout my lifetime which i refuse to undergo because of the high risk involve. pls if you have experience necrosis cause by sickle cell or not pls share and possible solution to help cope.
