safarigirl: He refused to go saying "man city is too big for him". See, sometimes the child is wiser than his father. The boy follows the game, he knows who is who. I can imagine how many beer parlor friends Papa Kelechi bragged to that his son is going to Man City. Poor man, he'll now have to take back those words. Hope this is the truth, popsman may be angry, but he'll get over it when the ego starts coming Seconded, spot on bro.... 9ice 1 |

He will still make dough either way. But its obviously makes sense for him to play in FC Porto than Man. City. By the time he spends 3 seasons in the feeder's team, of Man. City, he will go out on a loan. If a player like Dzeko is not getting enough play time, what will happen to KC ? FC Porto is a good choice. 2 Likes |

Better for him. Man City would have just abandon him and waste his career. Let him try that FC Porto. It will be easier for him to take a bold step from there. 1 Like |

naija noni: Despite being released from the home based Super Eagles camp to sign for Manchester City in England, it has been revealed to us that Kelechi Iheanacho is yet to sign with the former English champions. Greed, Greed, Greed is written all over this boy's career ever since he shot into limelight!! I pity this boy ooo. The boy's father wants to kill the poor boy's career even before he kick-starts it. Whoever told that Gold-digger of a father that his son stands any chance at high profile -star studded Man City? At best, Man City would loan him out to a less fancied club outside England and that will be the last we will hear of him. Why not look for a Middle cadre club in England like Everton or Aston Villla where you can secure a first-team place and play your way to lime-light? Kelechi should look his father in the face and tell him that '' this is about kelechi's life and destiny, only kelechi has the final say''. Abi na by force? Kelechi's father should go and sign and play for Man City himself if loves the club that much. |

I am sure you wouldn't mind if he had been sent to vietnam, Korea or even the United States, huh? sending him to Ghana is a no-no for you, even if he was being sent to a world class football academy, huh? I am sure you know it matters very little to Ghanaians whether he is brought here or not, huh? but learn to channel your frustration and crass stvpidity to the right place, huh? chisco82:how do you define 'better' places? in my opinion, any country outside nigeria is better for any human being, trust me. my brother Banku & Tilapia gave you plausible reasons why a nigerian coming to Ghana is a blessing, huh? as I said, direct your frustration to the club that signed him and decided to send him to Ghana. Ghanaians were not party to the agreement so no one should talk rubbish about Ghana, if they want to keep this thread sane. |
