T.T.O PURCHASE PROCEDURE (LOADED CARGO)

1. Buyer counter-signs SPA and returns with: (a) ATB format & tug boat details (b.) Supercargo & Inspector ID.

2. Seller seals SPA, deposit it at their Bank and sends POP of the loaded vessel to Buyer for tracking and confirmation.

3. Buyer confirms Seller’s loaded vessel’s POP and places a confirmable, transferable and divisible Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) via MT760 covering full cargo.

4. Seller clears cargo and leaves it in Nigerian waters or bunkers the vessel to Buyer’s preferred location. (i.e. Cotonou or Ghana waters) for physical confirmation of cargo and Q&Q inspection.

5. Seller’s cargo handler sends ATB and marine clearance for Buyer Supercargo & Inspector to board the loaded cargo. Buyer’s Inspector conducts the Q&Q Inspection on the loaded vessel and submits the report within 24 hours.

6. Seller sends soft copies of all official cargo documents in BUYER’S NAME to Buyer for payment.

7. Buyer’s Bank SWIFT payment for the full cargo into Seller’s Account and that of all commissioned Agents/Facilitators.

8. Seller cargo handlers introduce Buyer to the vessel owners and Buyer re-charters vessel.

9. Hard copies of all necessary documents are handed over to the Buyer and vessel sails away.
