I think we all have this problem with yahoo, that one cannot view there emails when they are offline, unlike Gmail and other mail or corporate mails that could be downloaded with Outlook Express MS Outlook or Thunderbird. But now its possible to view your Yahoo! Mail and any other POP3 or IMAP enabled email offline and work offline too.

For those of you that use Yahoo mail classic, you wont be able to access mail via POP. Only a few people that signed up with yahoo.co.uk. You need Yahoo mail plus to do this.
But there is a program called YPOPS! that allows pop access for free yahoo accounts.
