There is one simple reason for Gunner's capitulation-fatigue.

It didn't help that they started at a frenetic pace,effectively exhausting themselves within the first 25 minutes.I believe it was partly due to inexperience.They must have realised their fitness shortcomings and tailored their game with this in mind.

No problem. I'm used to my teams losing now. Let me count how many teams that I've supported that has loss in less than a year. They are Dallas Cowboys (American Footbal); Dallas Mavericks (NBA); UCLA, NC, Memphis and Davidson (America College Basketball); New York Yankees (Baseball) and ofcourse Arsenal. So no shaking, maybe I need to start rooting for the other team and in turn maybe my team would win. The scarest part is that they'll be doing good and then woolah everything will fall down the drains!

Arsenal have failed to take chances at critical stages of this season. They seem to forget that we have to play to win and it doesnt have to be "sexy".

Starting Walcott was not the problem, AW envisaged a game that would need to be turned around at some point and Walcott achieved that, only for the defensive issues to crop up once again. The defence lost us this game, no doubt about it.

Flamini's injury was probably telling as well - no one to effectively break up the attacks. Nevertheless, the defenders messed up.

@ presido - even AFTER that goal, we were 8 minutes away after Ade's goal, what stupid lack of composure defence concedes a penalty 2 mins later?

To be honest, we can't even blame the ref, he was giving soft free kicks all game showing he had zero tolerance for contact. The defenders lost the plot at the most crucial moment - Gallas and Kolo for me, Senderos had a decent game, but the two lynch pins failed us tonight.

Why did Wenger envisage a game that would need to be turned around?Mistake.Thinking like hez been defeated already.He should have gone all out,especially considering the fatigue factor.They should have bagged as many goals as possible before the key players started losing steam.Anyway this fatigue thing is not really a point.Liverpool's squad is also the same one that's been playing all this while.Torres was rested a little,Ade was rested.RVP was rested a little,Gerrard was rested.And Arsenal's got a younger team.So what are we saying?
Gallas messed up ,true.He wasn't in control at all at the back.The defense had zero pattern.
As for Fab being alone at the back,(kinda funny thinking of little Fab defending),that was a huge mistake by the defense.Guess you're right about that,your defense cost you this game to a large extent.But your strike force had lapses too.What did RVP do tonight? And Fab.He went to sleep after the first equalizer and with the loss of Flam,your midfield just died.There were lots of errors,the biggest from the defense,but i think the whole team should be blamed for the loss.Only person that did his job properly tonight was Walcott.

Truly speaking, Kolo has not been himself since the ACN, Eboue has been VERY POOR ALL SEASON. Only ONE assist from playing RM, no goals, nothing. That is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH for the number of games he played.

Money was not the cause here - Poor defensive co-ordination was the cause - We need a strong Defensive coach and should bring Tony Adams back from Pompey, the lack of cohesiveness and co-ordination is shocking.
