When the Spuds were the big boys in the south, they were the "SCUM". Now Man United have taken the tag, as they are the team we all love to hate. Debo if you have been living in England for the past 15 years, you would have noticed that our hatred for the Spuds has gone down quite a bit (the fact that they are a sh"tty team as well has nothing to do with it ), the hatred is really only felt by the old timers, as in Old Gooners who really know our history with the Spuds, especially with stuff like the[b] "Tannoy announcer"[/b] during the Littlewood cup 1987 (what is now known to all as the Carling Cup)

So the title "SCUM" i feel can be used for both, but personally, i don't reckown with the "Spuds" i really don't hate them, i started supporting Arsenal when Spurs was a shadow of their past (although i still loved players like Ginola and Anderton, and Rob keane and Defoe, who funny enough is a Gooner at heart ) So i have always hated Man united, cause even under Man united were the enemy, not even the Pool who we beat in the last game of 1989 to claim the League title (i love the POOL ) I just hate United and everything the stand for, so to me they are "Scum".
