O.K. I have a small story before I make my point.

I made a dear friend in Uni, his name is Doyin. Funny story how we met but that story is for another day.
I met him in my 3rd year but I really never talked to him until my final year. Doyin is an extraordinary human being. . . . . well, at least until after you get to know him. Before that, he is just plain weird and awkward. Some of our classmates used to call him a social retard because he just wasn't very good at pretending and the idea of friendship means a lot to him. He is also not very much into mind games or all the other crap associated with social especially dating norms. Unfortunately, that attitude never got him girls. He is very polite and courteous but these days, that apparently isnt the way to go about the business of girls.
Another thing about Doyin is his looks. He looks like a very dark greek god. His hair is something else, I used to wish I had hair like that. He has a fantastic model-type body and he dresses so good, even I wonno just grab him and munch him up sometimes.
No one saw all this until I started pointing people in his direction. Sometimes, I would say to my friends ; "hey Evelyn, have you ever hugged Doyin and felt his rock hard abs b4?". In no time, all the girls wanted in on him but Doyin, being the person that he is did not want bed mates, he wanted a girlfriend. Sometimes, when he eventually hit it off with one or two people, things would start to get awkward when they didn't understand why the hell anyone would want to listen to Hans Zimmer's scores in his down time.
He finally settles down with a sweet faced girl a few months to graduation. Even though she's not the type of girl I would be friends with but she made my friend happy and that is all that mattered.
Unfortunately, the sweet-faced girl left him a few months ago because (according to him, amidst all his emphatic scoffs) he had no GAME.
Which brings me to my point. What is GAME? Who determines who has GAME and why is it so important in any relationship? Whats wrong with "I like you, you like me, shall we proceed"? Why oh brother, WHY do people develop a chip on their already large shoulders when they know that someone likes them? Why cant people just focus on liking each other and making things work instead of mapping out strategies in the "I like him/her but I dont want him/her to know" game? I noticed a lot of us girls do it in the name of fronting and end up losing out more often than not.
This is exactly the type of thing Doyin hates.
