@ Razorr, If they can cough out £75 million and above, Ferguson should flog him and get Messi and Huntelaar. However, i think Man Utd want to rub Real Madrid's nose in the dust like Milan did last season when Madrid chased Kaka. £56 million was tabled for Kaka but Milan told Real Madrid to self-service off!!!! Real Madrid don't always get their man like they want people to believe. . . . They failed to land Kaka and Fabregas last season. |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 3:33pm On Jun 11, 2008 |
@Xerxes Yea sweety, but the difference btw Ronnie and Kaka & Cesc is that Ronnie is head over heels in love with Madrid. Plonker's been having wet dreams on life with the Galacticos and has come out to clearly state that he'd love to leave. |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Xerxes4(m): 3:48pm On Jun 11, 2008 |
Razorr: If it's that simple. . . . .Let him pack his bags after Euro2008 and walk straight to the Bernabeu!!!!! This is Europe and i am sure Ronaldo has freedom of movement, innit? |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by 4Play(m): 5:00pm On Jun 11, 2008 |
And unlike your Portugal Wimp, Ade has come out to categorically state that he isn't going anywhere Cool Has any major club expressed any actual interest in signing Adebayor? For Ade to go "somewhere",some club must first indicate interest in buying him. |

Ritchboy Forget 4play ![]() Cause only a clown would not know that AC Milan were after Adebayor. And being that the Man Servant has retired from his clownish duties, we must blame his lapses on the medication/food drink he gulps on the regular. ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by tkb417(m): 4:28pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
just read we are about doing a double bid for Ramos and Robinho. where did SAF drop his thinking cap all the while? if they feel they can go for any player, then der are two ways to deal with them 1) sell the player for 75million GBP 2) ask for Ramos, Robinho and Cassilas to be included in the deal for Ronaldo. im sure they will back off. any of the options will be good. get 75million and bid for Messi and Aguero or sell and take ramos and co. chikena |

Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by tkb417(m): 5:21pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
@Vicade Come out clear and speak english Which of the options are you having issues with? selling Ronaldo for 75m? sorry the main man at the Bernabue said money aint a prob. so what? or making Ramos and Robinho a part of the deal? thats the easiest for the people at OT. My point exactly if u cant understand is to unsettle them with outragious demands and make them back off and if they still wanna stick to der guns, den so be it!! |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by loyika(m): 5:31pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
Robinho And Cassilas ![]() TKB ![]() ![]() Are you smoking reefers ![]() ![]() Its like Yahoo playing hardball with Microsoft, WHERE IS THAT GETTING THEM ![]() ![]() Real M can pay anything you ask for (If they could get Figo from Barca, they can get anyone). Need i remind you, REAL MADRID IS A BIGGER CLUB THAN MANCHESTER UNITED (Always have and always will be). You cannot play hardball with them, the one you guys should be focusing on is Divino. Convince the bloke that he doesn't lose out by staying ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Madrid back off ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please apart from Chelsea, which other club could have carried "the Galacticos" wage bill? If the Scummies are the Henchmen, Real M is the godfather ![]() Come to think of it, if you guys keep pissing them off, they will also make a bid for Tevez, just to add salt to your injury (Madrid can afford to even have you as their second squad ![]() ![]() Abeg TKB no make me die of laughter oh!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by vicade(m): 5:34pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
if ronaldo is sold for 75 million, what is the possibility of the glazers releasing all that money for transfer funds considering man u's debt in their name? if aguero comes he will be on the bench or is he a winger cos i reckon first choice is tevez & rooney. Why should messi leave barcelona? And even if messi is going to leave barcelona his transfer value will be over-priced. Ramos, cassillas and robinho? Big Joke. ![]() Real madrid generated a lot of revenue when they signed beckham and they will generate more revenue at least through selling shirts IF they sign ronaldo which is why money is no problem. It is an investment. if ronaldo leaves it could be good but it may have an effect on the team and not every superstar replacement signing makes an immediate impact. Man u spent over 25 million pounds on juan sebestian veron!!!. If ronaldo leaves i think man u should sign Ronaldinho!!! |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by tkb417(m): 5:51pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
@Vicade i don't know where you get your info from as at the last time i checked, Man United is the richest club in the world. Debts ![]() The debt will be serviced with or without the selling of any player at OT. FYI, the Glazers have come openly that they could afford to put Ronaldo at the stands till 2010!!! so what are you talking about? ure talking about 25million for Veron? what about 30million we paid for RIO in 2002? we've always been the richest club in the world. how much is the total wage package for Ramos, Robinho and Casillas? The last time i checked, the authorities at the Bernabeu do not want to increase Robinhos salary hence his purpoted rumour of a move to the EPL. POINTS: United can afford to put CR7 in the stands for life. REAL are desperately in need of a star figure in their ranks to sell shirts and make money, hence the unnecessary pursuit of Ronaldo. Do they need him? NO they've got Robben, schneider and Robinho already so? U asked why Messi will like to leave camp Nou? money of course Aguero and any striker can play from the wings. Rooney, Henry, Robinho, Messi and co are strikers that play or have played from the wings |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by 4Play(m): 5:59pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
loyika: If you believe the press reports that Milan are after Adebayor, you must also believe the reports that say he has agreed personal terms, where does that put your claim about Ade being loyal to Arsenal unlike Ronaldo? As for Ramsey, who needs that mooncalf ? The boy is not even good enough to start for Cardiff,a crappy championship side. Don't tell me he is only 17,if he was such a prospect,he should be able to nail down a starting place in such a rubbish side. |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by loyika(m): 6:00pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
Tkb Stop deluding yourself, Madrid is a bigger, richer club than Uinted. REAL IS A GOVERNMENT CLUB, UNITED ARE NOT!! Like i asked, could United have carried the Galacticos wage bill ![]() United are richer than Chelsea as a club, BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT CHELSEA CAN BUY OLD TRAFFORD IF THEY WANTED TOO!! 4play ![]() The report says; Milan has informed Arsenal of their desire, thay never said they have agreed terms with the Cattle Rearer. Also Ade was on the Official website to state that he was not going anywhere, CAN YOU SAY THE SAME FOR YOUR DARLING RONALDO ![]() ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by tkb417(m): 6:09pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
@Loyiks Forget the Real is a government thing. . .we all can remember when they were so much in debt and all they could do was magomago accounting and all of a sudden the accounts are balanced. Im not contesting the capability of the Real outfit to foot bills but contesting the fact that United can pay for any kind of player and can afford to sit any player of any status in the stands for life. how much is Ronaldo worth in 10years? haba Abrahamovich buying United? yeah. . .United was an option but he went for the cheaper one |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by loyika(m): 6:13pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
4play Far from it, if you have been following my posts since i joined Nairaland, you would notice i hate Spanish Clubs with a passion ![]() ![]() If Ronaldo says he wants to go, THERE IS NOTHING UNITED CAN DO!! And that the truth and nothing but the truth (Which you know). If i had my way, i would drop a Nuclear bomb in some parts of spain, but a las i can't have my way. We have been going through all this bull with Spanish clubs from time, so nothing new, and as for Flamini, i remember stating that Milan were a bigger club than Arsenal. We only bring up the UEFA stuff as jest in relation to the reasons the Flamster was giving for his exit!! Sort of like Hleb's dilly dalling on which club is interested in him (Changes from day to day ![]() ![]() I would rather Divino stays back in England, at least English footie could produce the FIFA player of the year ![]() ![]() |

@4play What else do i expect you to say its like toasting a babe and she says no and you chose to diss her.Ramsey is so crap that your boss Sir Alex nearly blew up his cell and fought tooth and nail to get him unfortunately he failed Robinho come to Utd he would rather go back to Santos |

@Loyiks i didnt even see the your first post about madrid adding tevez to the list. . . u must be kidding me. Ure damn exagerating the capabilities of madrid. Madrid tried buying Fab4 who is a local last season and they failed. what about kaka? they can't always get what they want. Get it, the aces are with the Glazers, if they decide to waste Ronaldo, then he will rot. not even FIFA can beg. puhlease, hes on contract and der is no buy out clause. If United want to play dirty, then Ronaldo is finished!!! PS: Robinho wants the EPL. its either his wages are increased or he will press for a move. of course Robinho will jump at the opportunities of playing for either Chelsea or United. . .Robinho? i dey laff. . .who is Robinho? u these gaynners sef? |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by 4Play(m): 6:23pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
@Loyika I just read the story about Ade agreeing personal terms from a very reliable source(LondonLite-a Tube freebie). ![]() Another funny story I read today, when Rooney was 17 years old and not well known,he turned up at an estate agent in Chelsea to inquire about buying a house. The manager looked at him and presumed he was some chavvy teenager casing houses to burgle and told him to leave the premises or he will call the Police. ![]() ![]() @A-40 Fergie was wrong to even put a bid. That boy is a first-rate idiot! I have seen him play and I'm not impressed. We just saved ourselves £5m. ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by superstar1(m): 6:25pm On Jun 12, 2008 |
@ TKB BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT CHELSEA CAN BUY OLD TRAFFORD IF THEY WANTED TOO![s][/s] do u think Man U is a cheap club like ur arsenal. asset is not measured in money kept in the bank's vault alone, but also measured in terms of the worth of your property --- stadium, houses etc and merchandise being sold, TV rights and income from the competition you are competing in. oh boy, never in your life dare you say that to the EPL and UCL champs again. Learn to espect elders so that your days might bel ong, let your you and your club learn to respect champions, so that they can leave the league of trophyless club. if Madrid are real the big club yyou are professing they are, let them make the bid for ronaldo alongside ramos and robinho, i will definately know that they are big. be that as it may, we shall still be in a win win situation.they will name their price for ramos and robinho, we shall sum it up for the price of ronaldo for them with 5m extra, they shall buy and we shall buy too.!! u see, like jackal said, we are in the driver's seat, with our foot on the pedals. MAdrid my ass.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONE UNITED |

Guy it seems as if your brain has gone on vacation. loyika: Get ur facts right before posting. http://www.inthenews.co.uk/sports/football/autocodes/premiership-teams-2006-2007/west-ham/manchester-united-are-richest-club-in-world-$1221101.htm http://www.sportbusiness.com/news/166736/manchester-united-tops-forbes-rich-list Any of the two links should set your thinking on the right path. loyika: Ur case must be worse off than I thot. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/24571-EPL-Roman-Abramovic-s-Money---Loan-Or-Investment--210508 In case you're too dumb to click on the link,as ur post has shown I'll give you some excerpts. . . "Covering the year to June 30 2007, Chelsea's accounts show that the club's largest creditor was the owner himself, Roman Abramovich, who had poured £578m into the club, not as a donation but as an interest-free loan." "Chelsea's director of communications, Simon Greenberg, confirmed that the £578m, described in the accounts as "Other loan", is indeed the loan from Abramovich." "Chelsea's chairman, Bruce Buck, has stressed that Abramovich "loves football" and will not "walk away" from Chelsea." "If the owner's enthusiasm were ever to wane, and Abramovich decided he did want his loan back, the accounts show that Chelsea would have 18 months to find the money." |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by loyika(m): 10:58am On Jun 13, 2008 |
Let me start with the sane then deal with the rubbish as i move along TKB If Cesc is from catalonia, how does he become a Madrid local lad ![]() As for kaka, well let me repeat myself. If a player pledges loyalty to his present employer, then an enquiring club can do nothing, now if that player begins to dilly dally on issues of where his loyalties lie, then any club has the right to test the waters on acquiring that player. Now if that player makes his desire to move known, then any other club has every right to bid for that player. Ronaldo presently falls under the second category, while Kaka fell under the first. Basically if Ronaldo says he wants to go, HE WILL GO!! Whether you guys want to force him to stay one more season, becomes irrelevant. Of what benefit would that be for your dressing room team spirit ![]() I repeat, your issues are not with Real M, but with your player. deal with your player, cause Real will always want to poach whether you like it or not (and eventually they will get their man, especially if the player wants to join them). Also read my lips; Real M can get Tevez as well if they want. FOR FCUKS SAKES TKB THIS IS REAL MADRID WE ARE TALKING ABOUT ![]() Question? Which team is considered the most successful club football team in the World? Real can get whom ever they want (as long as the player wants to join), and if Real show an interest in Tevez, i can bet my life that Tevez will not hesitate to jump at that opportunity. All United can do is say no and appease the player to stay. Nowadays, power is shifting hands from the clubs to the players and their agents, to the extent that most players ask for caveats in their contracts, which allows them to jump ship at anytime. Think of it, some of your other stars were sold to whom ? REAL M. 4play ![]() ![]() ![]() As for the Cattle Rearer, boy even if Eyimba wanted to get him, i wouldn't shed a tear. Not putting down what he has done for us last season, but you know there are some players in your club that no matter what they do, you just don't feel them ![]() As for Ramsey, i like you, hate all these "Wonder Kid" rubbish, most times its a 50 / 50 thing with these lads, for every Cesc there is a Djemba Djemba ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Need to pick your brain in the Politics section, ARE THE AMERICANS ABOUT TO ELECT A NOVICE AS PRESIDENT ![]() ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by loyika(m): 11:19am On Jun 13, 2008 |
Now for the other 2 lads, you must be the ancestral remenants of the creatures God created on the 8th day, while he was still resting and just mucking about with stuff. Unfortunately he forgot to destroy your kind, as he had to deal with other urgent matters concerning Adam and Eve and the need for redemption. So tey one even put up links for whom to check i don't know ![]() I have concluded my findings, Most Nigerians won't ever understand Sarcasm even if Yaradua announced it as a Federal Government policy. Una carry go. ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by loyika(m): 11:42am On Jun 13, 2008 |
Now TKB check this out; http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/chelsea/article4124614.ece Are you saying that if Plonker Scolari makes a bid for those players, and the players say they want to join him, Chelsea cannot afford to get them ![]() "Many of the stars on Chelsea’s horizon may prove beyond their reach as they play for rivals with no need to sell, but Abramovich is confident that the sheer weight of money will convince some of them to cash in." So the onus is now on the loyalty of that player to his employer, cause if that player states a desire to leave, most likely; HE WILL LEAVE!! Look at Ramsey, he chose Arsenal over United, basically as a result of the loa back option which United had agreed with cardiff, which the player in question didn't want. Could Cardiff do anything to sway him ![]() Funny enough, the gist is that Scolari is also to blame for Divino's dilly dalling, giving advice to dump United and go to Spain ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by DrKitaun(m): 12:05pm On Jun 13, 2008 |
@Loyika shut up and greet your bro ![]() ![]() but ol boy . . .u mean o ! ![]() see as u take yab those 2 guys ? u suppose regard them as waste of bandwidth naw ! ![]() @topic Real Madrid would always be Real Madrid, not Valencia nor Espanyol ![]() why do u guys fail to realise that some players will give their left nut to play for certain tradidtional clubs ? Real and AC are veritable examples of such clubs ! ![]() Ronaldo wants to go - - -all of a sudden some of u are already casting him in the worst of lights ? ready to belittle all of his telling contributions in the past 2 season for y'all . . .na wa o ![]() it cant be too difficult, if a player wants to leave, WHY WOULD Y'ALL WANT TO KEEP A PLAYER THAT WANTS TO LEAVE BY FIRE BY FORCE ![]() ![]() |
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by hucarson(m): 12:18pm On Jun 13, 2008 |
@ Loyika, It seems u talk ONLY because you like the sound of your voice or the arrangement of your words. You keep missing a fundamental point which is: Ronaldo is still on a contract that keeps him till 2012. Besides, mention one player that left OT without the blessings of Alex Ferguson. Man Utd will only sell a player when they want to not because of Real Madrid or the nonsense u keep recycling. Granted, if Ronaldo decides to move, Fergie must sell him because keeping Cristiano might affect the team spirit but there's nothing under the law that says Fergie must sell to Real Madrid. Fergie may decide to sell to Milan or Lyon. How about that for something to reflect on? Aaron Ramsey knows he would rot on the bench for years before he makes United's starting eleven. The strength in depth at OT made him change his mind not because he feels Arsenal are better than Man Utd. How many midfielders do Arsenal have(especially after the exit of Flamini). Signing for Arsenal guarantees more playing time for the young lad, good luck to him. If Ferguson was really after Ramsey, he would get him. All he had to do was slap a 10 million price-tag on him but with Anderson, Hargreaves, Carrick and Fletcher-United needs no Ramsey now. He is a talent no doubt but he might not blossom. Let Arsenal face the risk. When he matures, we might pluck him. Wenger has no luck with British players. |
